FolkArt Medium (8-Ounce), 898 Floating

Suggested by an online artist and I just love this stuff. I'd never used it before. It keeps your paint colors separate

Used and works well. Don't need to much to stretch your paint.

I was finding my acrylic paint would dry too fast as I would try to add shading and dimension so I needed something that would help my paint “stay wet” longer. This floating medium made my painting so much smoother because I was able to blend my paint without it drying before I was ready. This is an absolute must have if you paint!

Have used mostly Folk Art paints for over 10 years. Love the consistency and the variety of colors and shades. When my paint has sat for too long, as will most all paints, it dries out some but adding this Medium to it brings it right back to being usable again. I use inexpensive paper plates to mix on but if the paint is too dry you can try to add the Medium to the container itself and stir well. Depending on the age of the paint, it may not be revivable but this product is always worth a try! I try to salvage as much as possible but only if it can be made smooth and easy to spread again.

I am getting used to the method that works best for it, but it is a nice product and gives a lovely effect.

This product is used to mix w/ acrylic paint to form different effects with the paint. For me it’s a must have
