Sanwa YX-360TRF Linear Analog Multimeter Tester YX360TRF NEW

This multimeter is a quality instrument at a very reasonable price. Been using it in restoring some antique tube-type radios and it works perfectly. Easy to read dial and easy to use.

I bought this Sanwa YX-360TRF to replace my last analog meter that getting hard to read due to the scale number paint disintegrating. I use digital meters for field work, but I like the analog models for checking some electronics on a bench. This Sanwa looks smaller in the photos than it is, and is definitely not pocket sized. Call it portable bench sized. Which is actually a benefit because it makes the analog scale large enough to be readable. The quality of this meter is excellent for the price range. The all-in-one meter/case that is also a work stand and houses the captive test leads is a clever design.

Beware, this meter does not have replaceable leads. As an electrician my leads get bent, strained or broken. Wanted to send it back but I would have to pay shipping costs. I don't recommend this meter.

A perfect return to the analog days. This has the traditional Sanwa accuracy and beautifully damped needle movement. Only draw back is that the probes don't detach from the meter. Not really a problem as the tips are quite fine and the end covers can be removed for longer access. Very good unit. Highly recommended.

O produto é para quem é exigente. O mercado é inundado de multímetros falsos que tentam imitar a Sanwa, mas são produtos péssimos e descartáveis. Este é um equipamento de entrada da marca, ainda assim percebe-se a qualidade Made in Japan em cada detalhe. O movimento do ponteiro é preciso e suave, possui espelho de verdade para evitar paralaxe, possui medição de tensão positiva / negativa a partir do centro da escala e p multímetro é robusto e prático. Não sou muito fã da ideia das ponteiras serem fixas ao instrumento, mas a funcionalidade do alojamento onde elas ficam acaba compensando isso. As pontas são banhadas a ouro e o galvanômetro é do tipo "taut band", que é muito robusto. Só elogios.

You can't wrong if buy this one

For its price point, it is rugged. Repeatability is good. Rec'd with mechanical zero bang on, has not deviated. Set zero ohms once and it had stayed. Nice to use an analog meter again and exercise a long dormant part of brain. If I had to complain-wish it had a more suitable scale for 12V DC measurements as I do a lot of automotive stuff. That said, they did not hide the specs so 5/5, no regrets.
