Excellent
Just to confirm, the blu ray 2d and 3d disks are both multi-region 1080/24 resolution/frame rate, however the dvd is for region 1 (USA/Canada) only and is in NTSC. Good 3D demo, although bear in mind that the condition of the Titanic has deteriorated since this documentary was filmed in August/September 2001

As close as being there as possible
A great documentary in it’s own right & an even better companion piece to James Cameron’s Titanic, which he also directed. 5/5!

Haunting but hard on the eyes
It's haunting and daunting seeing these crystal clear images of the ship at the bottom of the ocean. Especially striking is the handful of shots of the prow. Especially striking are shots of the disintegration of the ship in some areas as bacteria and rust claim the ship, followed by shots of components that looked like they were placed in the water just a few hours earlier. Some of the overlays with replays of scenes from the past on the current images of the ship were quite dramatic and striking ... others just made it hard to appreciate what was being shown. The only disconcerting feature were the cutaways to the people peeking out of the peepholes of the submarine ... they were jarring to my eyes.I would have liked to rank it higher than a 3 but the cutaways that kept jarring my eyes kept the score this low. Still, an excellent film showing the Titanic in crystal clear images.
