Can I hook this up to siphon directly from the paint/stain container or will I have to spray a quart at a time?

You will not be able to attach this directly to a the paint/stain container. But you can use it with a pressurized paint tank. These can be found at paint supply stores, hardware stores, or online

Will this work with Weatherproofing wood finish?

Most definetely, I sprayed 16 4'x8' lattice panels for my patio. You'll have to thin the finish lightly. Ask your paint supplier for the ratio.

Will this work for interior house paint, white/pastel based paint?

The DH4200 spray gun is a general purpose gun so it should be work with interior white/pastel based paint. It does have a 0.049" nozzle size. You may want to check with the distributor of the paint for more details.
