Buffalo Games - Terry Redlin - Evening Rendezvous - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Buffalo Games has become our go-to brand for puzzles. They seem to be about the best brand at balancing cost and quality that we've found. The pieces are traditional thickness (not super-thin like some budget brands) fit together well (not too lose), and have enough variation in shape to make assembly more interesting, without being overly easy, like a kids puzzle. And their line of art landscape puzzles is inspiring. It is surprising that with almost every puzzle, at some point, often at the very end, we discover that we've got a piece or two in the wrong place, at least with their larger 1000 and up piece puzzles. So, if you can't find a piece, go back and look carefully at what you've already assembled; odds are it's in the wrong spot.The boxes are heavy duty enough to last for decades as well. The included poster is rather pointless in decor or helping with assembly, especially now that they're watermarking them. But the poster does usually include some interesting facts about the artist.

Bought as a gift - it worked great. nice puzzle. I rated "easy to assemble" as a 4/5 - as let's face it - putting a puzzle like this together isn't supposed to be easy.

I really like this puzzle. I was going to glue it together but can't do it with a piece missing.
