Excellent, neat compact unit
Really great. Worth the extra few pounds above the cheaper options. Good package, complete with micro memory card installed, adapter for standard usb socket works well, standard USB lead as well. Transfer of files is quicker through the adapter of course. Solid build. Very clear and responsive screen. Many functions as described, all work well. No need to read instructions which are still in the box. Sound quality through my standard wired headphones is really good. Two tracks provided as test are very civilised, good classical music movements! But it also sounds very good with other genres!! I intend to use it with audio books at the gym with Bluetooth headphones. It really is a nice little bit of kit and good value.

Nice little stand alone MP3 player
Nice little MP3 player for the price; easy to download files from the laptop direct to the memory card with the adaptor included. Battery life is good; the sound quality is excellent using my wired Sony Headphones. Works fine with a Bluetooth speaker, again the sound quality is good on that too. One of the pre-installed songs isn't that good quality. I've used CD's that have been converted to MP3 files and the audio is excellent, so depends on where the files are downloaded from regarding the sound quality. Also there are pre-set Graphic Equalizer setting to choose from. The built in speaker is the usual quality for a tiny speaker. The micro-SD card is a bit fiddly to remove without tweezers. 64gb is ample memory for MP3 files. Recommend putting your albums into individual folders before loading onto the card. You can set to play random songs if you wish. You can use the built in recorder for voice notes etc. Would I recommend for the price? Yes! It's only an MP3 player so doesn't play MP4 video files, but then the screen is tiny for that anyway.

Great little MP3 player AND includes SD cardUSB reader.
I received the silver version yesterday and I love it. It's quite weighty given it's small size and feels solid, not cheap plastic. I removed the 64gb SD card and transferred almost 3 thousand music tracks and found they took up approx half of the storage space on the card. This was simple and straightforward to do because of the included SD card-to-USB reader/adapter which I plugged into my laptop. BTW, I always use the 'old' Windows Media Player app because it's simple to use and great for transferring, syncing and updating from the PC to the SD card (or any other devices). Once transferred to the card, it was equally simple to put the SD card back into the MP3 player. The player took a minute to 'read' the new files then it was ready to go. I tend to listen to all my music on Shuffle setting - they're all mine anyway so I'm guaranteed to like whatever is playing and I like not knowing what's next or which genre (rock to classical, foreign language, country; George Formby to Black Eyed Peas, Mozart etc I like 'em all so happy to get a mix). The Shuffle feature works well and plays from all areas of the saved songs - the display shows which 'number' is currently playing eg: 412/2982. Sound through the external speaker isn't very good but I didn't expect it to be. However, using headphones was fine, quite rich and perfect for what I want. I also paired it to a separate Bluetooth speaker - again, a nice rich sound that I could increase and decrease with either the MP3 player or the Bluetooth speaker, with both also enabling stop/start/skip/return etc (all the usual functions). I'm no expert or sound engineer but this player suits me fine and I'm happy with my purchase but I've got to say, it was worth the reasonable price to also get the SD card reader included.

Disappointed to say this but_ You Will Regret Buying This Player
Initially this seemed a great little device. It looks good, feels good to handle, and sounds very good. It is also very easy to set up. It works just great_ until it doesn't. I've been happily using this little player daily for the best part of 6 months. Now suddenly it is regularly making me reformat the built-in drive, and not operating until I do. Everything I had stored is lost from the player. This is a problem with the player's firmware. I think a few other people who have bought this player have said the same thing. I now regret buying this player because the problem is reoccurring more and more. I have had to reformat the player twice already this month alone. I will not ever be buying another AiMoonsa music player. I should have spent more and purchased a player from a well known quality brand. For your own sake, do not buy this player. You will regret it.

Excellent Little System
Bought this to replace a similar one i had abt. 10yrs ago, so setting it up wasn't a big deal. Setting it up is straight for eg. Date , time etc.. is basically straight forward. The bluetooth connected automatically connected to the sound bar I have. The radio does need you have to an attenna for it to work but just the head phones connected will do that for you. Transferring files is a bit tricky, mine was mp3 files but by placing and labelling each folder you need makes it simplar to use. The radio is, once tuned in, provides a clear and strong signal. I fully charged the units battery up and used the MP3 player for 5 hours straight, the battery still showed a full life. Certainly would recommend this MP Player, audio output is clear, battery life seems excellent but remember if you have it on full it will go down faster [As i said, mine was connected through a soundbar], so was not on full output. Generall, in my opinion well worth having and value for money.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for with this. It's not bad, but it can get pretty glitchy, and it's not very user friendly. I primarily bought this to store and listen to audiobooks (from Audible - it's a long process, but possible) as I'm dyslexic, and this is my main form of accessing books. I was hoping this would work similarly to any of the MP3 players I had in the 2000s, but sadly not. Pros: - Holds a lot of data - Good battery life - Easy to move files onto device - No internet needed - Bluetooth so capable of wireless connection. Cons: - It's very easy to accidentally delete files, which are not retrievable - You can not go back to the track you were last listening to easily. This is annoying for audiobooks/podcasts etc. You need to remember exactly what chapter you were in AND where in the chapter you were. It is slow, tedious and glitchy to fast forward back to where you were in the chapter. Honestly, cassette tapes are easier than this! - There is a speaker, meaning no need for earphones, but the quality is very poor. Other Notes: -You must order and clearly name your audio data into folders on your laptop/pc before transferring them to the device and in the exact order you want to listen to them (especially important for audiobooks/podcasts). If you use audiobooks/files because you are visually impaired, I would not recommend this (as someone who has visually impaired family). Maybe if you just used it for music, it would be fine.

Bit of a fiddle but got there in the end
Arrived well within 24 hours of ordering. Managed to set the time and date with ease as it was charging up. Getting the memory card out is a tad fiddly but you need to push it in so that it pops. At first my PC refused to acknowledge it via the card reader and the player itself. Tried several times with no luck and then it dawned on me that I may need to format the card first so popped it in the player located the format option in settings and tried that. It formatted in seconds flat and after that my PC found it easily when I popped the card reader back in. Transferring the files / music is easy with the card reader. I had a job lot that I dragged and dropped from my PC and within 30 mins it was done. Couldn't find the files on the MP3 player so ended up having to look online only to discover that you need to create a music folder on the card via the card reader and your PC. Did that and then dragged everything i'd put in the wrong place into the music folder and we were up and running. On the MP3 player go to Folder > Music and it's all in there in alphabetical order. Loving it so far and am very impressed with it considering it didn't cost a fortune. It took all my music files with ease and still has 20GB of space left on it! Not sure about the battery life yet as I've not tested it for long but I am sure it'll be fine. It paired up to my headphones via Bluetooth easily and the sound quality is superb. One very happy customer.

Good, but not great
Had this about a week and these are the pros & cons I've found with it so far: PROS Great sound with supplied earphones or your own earbuds, reasonable capacity, nice size and feel, intuitive initial setup, easy setup with your own Bluetooth earbuds, simple drag n drop method to download tunes from your PC or NAS CONS FM radio needs to use the supplied wired earphones to work (the cable acts as an aerial), displays a set image rather than the artwork for the MP3 file, device controls can be sensitive for larger hands, it's easily marked

Out Standing MP3 player
This MP3 player is fantastic and does exactly what the descriptions said. I would like to dispel some myths that I read in some other reviewers. Some people said they couldn't transfer iTunes music to this MP3 player; nonsense. I opened my iTunes song list on the computer. I opened this device right beside it and transferred by dragging songs from iTunes onto this device. No problem. I opened my iPod nano which had 400 songs on it. I went to Bluetooth on the unit and the MP3 player recognized the iPod nano instantly and registered it. I've gone jogging with this a few times and it works perfectly. There was no interference and music loss. The sound was excellent In the listing on the unit in apps was FM radio. I opened it. I then found a station with left right arrows and then sent it to presets. It recognized 10 stations that I could download and had no problems. They were all sent to presets. You must use earphones because they act as antennas and the sound was excellent and clear. You cannot do radio stations through Bluetooth. Overall this unit is fantastic especially considering the price
