Great starter unit!
If you are looking for a press to get you started, bang for your buck this unit is going to be great for you. It is made of quality materials and engineered well, no complaints in this department. My only 2 points of interest for possible improvement would be first to put a rubber grip handle on the jack arm. I bought a rubber grip that fit perfectly off amazon for a few dollars (Search this ASIN in Amazon for exact grip I bought ASIN: B08C3WXZS1) and installed, helps a lot (See Photo). The second was for the bottom legs to come a little longer. Rositek sells longer replacement color matched legs for their 8ton jack, but for this 4ton, they send 2in long aluminum colored leg extensions in the package that screw on to the factory legs (Color of extensions & legs don't match). Small details that don't change how the unit works, the extensions function just fine. Overall the unit is good for a starter, and about 7 of them is about as much as id do at a time with it if ya know what I mean. 2 thumbs up!

Works good but
It works just as it should but it leaks oil. Totally a bummer for a sizable investment. Needs a better jack. Pick a different brand.

********DO NOT BUY********
As a seasoned grower, I will recommend everyone to stay away from this product and ingmore it’s high reviews. It is truly sub-par to a lot of other options out there. I am one that occasionally gets sucked into Amazon and think that’s the best place to get the cheap and quick product that gets the job done. But here, it is not! Do your research. If you do, then it will point in all the ways not to buy this product. Though I will say. It is made with DECENT materials and is semi-solid. It still doesn’t accomplish the goal at hand.I’m starting with the cons because that’s all it has.-NO PRESSURE GAUGE!!!!!!! Most important, your guessing plain and simple(How can you be relatively precise without proper measurement)-have to alternate between the jack handle to add/decrease pressure-not true temps. Whatever the PID says….take a temp gun and tell me it’s what it is reading.…-though seems well built. She will make you nervous. If you don’t pre press (which you shouldn’t have to based on the type of material you are pressing) anything you put in there that’s even a little uneven will slip and you can visually see the plates applying pressure at an un even level due to the springs being loose and only being there to bring the plates back down. Its down right dangerous.-do yourself a favor and go to “dab press” website and get one that as a vertical hydraulic jack with a manual pump (with gauge) you will be forever happy and it literally 100$ more.Overall I will say this thing is truly a hunk of metal and this is the most honest review you will see. PLEASE DONT BUY THIS.Just because it looks nice doesn’t mean it’s going to work. And this was a lesson well learned.Any questions hit me on the tweets at absand3 “BIG TUNA” more than happy to answer any other questions.

It does what it does
This, for me, is somewhere between a 3 and 4 star product. Now, I don't think a 3 star product is bad, but it's not going to blow me away either. I think the overall quality is what pushes it into the 4 star range, however, 5 star product it is not.Would I purchase this again? No. I'd get a different press. Do I regret purchasing this? Kind of........ but not entirely. It's fine for the most part. The 2 in 1 aspect is a little gimmicky. Like. To me the added mold never really fit. I like having that extra clearance though. However, I felt the mold was a little too big. None of the common bags I see online are sized for that mold; they're all smaller. I purchased separate molds because of that, which I use a lot more. When it comes to actually pressing the material, it works fine. It's a no frills experience. When it comes to what I'd purchase instead, uhh. Not a 2 in 1 unit. I'd go for a unit that separates the stand/press from the controller part where you crank the press. 2 reasons on that.First, cranking on the unit itself is not fun. It slips around if you're not careful. You almost need to bolt it down. Having the crank handle separate, would help with this, so you're not slipping this heavy press around your counter while trying to apply pressure.Secondly, those units usually have pressure gauges. If you want to make a consistent product and dial things in, that's one step towards that. I've gotten a decent feel for the pressure on this unit, but I'd rather have a gauge I can check against. I think the lack of a pressure gauge is almost counter productive. Especially when you're new to this stuff. So overall, it's not a bad unit. I did give it 4 stars. However, I still feel there's probably better options out there.
