What's to say about flatwear? They work? Which these do, very well actually. Nice finish and weighty! Heavy! Not cheap feeling tin things..

How gorgeous this set looks. The heavy weight construction makes it something to be proud of using with family or guests. Only negative is that it looks so nice and feels soooo good in the hand, I almost don't want to use them. Originally I had purchased a 40 piece set for 40 bucks. It was lightly built but looked ok. Forks had badly bent tines so returned it. Yep this is 20 bucks more, but its three times the quality,

I read and read reviews of flatware. Over the years our small children have tended to accidentally throw away our flatware to where we were down to only one fork for each of us...which meant lots of utensil washing in our home and plastic forks when company comes...which is a lot. We are a family of 6 and lots of friends and family come over regularly. I didn't want to pay a fortune, nor did I want cheap dinky feeling stuff. I feared it would come and it would feel like the cheapest thinnest stuff. But it is perfect! When it arrived hubby pulled it out and opened it and commented on the great feel. The salad forks are a little larger than what we had as are the smaller dessert spoons. Apparently they are compared to most because family was recently visiting and my sister in law commented that now small spoons were clean, but her boys would be happy with big ones. I was perplexed as all the dishes had been washed. But when I looked, it was the 'small' spoons....they just are larger than hers as well. ha ha!! but her boys didn't mind neither do my young children, and my teens and husband are very happy with the size and weight. SO thankful I read reviews, and am thankful these are what I chose. We have had them several weeks now and they get washed in our dishwasher daily.....no stains, no loss in looks...they looks exactly the same!
