The first spring in the Suntour post was a little too soft and bottomed out on occasion. This firmer spring makes the ride absolutely perfect for me. It's like riding on a cloud. My Goldilocks moment. Easy to install and a great value for the provided comfort. Great product! Thanks.

I am under the weight limit but I replaced the spring with this. With my dog on my back in a backpack, we're pushing it. This gives me bigger range of adjustability. This and the post are well worth the money. They make my ebike ride so much smoother. Easy to adjust.

Had to remove nylon spacer from original and add to this as I have large diameter seat post

Great Product does exactly what's it's supposed to do.

The NCX post is a great suspension seatpost - especially for ebikes that don't have rear suspension. However if you are an over 200 pound rider it will not support your weight and bounce up and down like a pogo stick. Even if you adjust the spring tension to maximum that won't help. This red spring is designed to handle that extra weight.

I weigh 280 lbs and this seat post is perfect. I have hit a few pot holes that could have had disastrous consequences if not for its shock absorbing ability.

When I purchased my SunTour suspension seat post I thought it would work okay since I was just above the rider weight limit. Turns out the suspension seat post was more uncomfortable than riding with my regular post, and this was when riding on flat even ground. After reading positive reviews from those that bought the red spring and their weight was even less than mine, I decided to get it. Well, they are correct! I don't even know if I have the correct tension since I guessed at it, but I could feel right away a huge difference. This was well worth the purchase. I only wish SunTour would offer two versions of their seat post - regular and red spring version, so I didn't have to make separate purchases and spend more money.
