This clothesline wire is really nice. As long as twist are removed when installing, it will function very smoothly. It’s a heavy grade twisted wire with a very nice coating.

Replaced a rope line for my sister-in-law with this. She loves it. Doesn't sag and rolls easy on the pulleys.

I've needed to span a distance of almost 150 feet. After having used both cloth and vinyl clotheslines, I came to the conclusion that perhaps the only material to use would be braided stainless steel with a synthetic clear outer coating. This seems to be doing very well, despite the quite windy conditions it has to withstand; the line itself has a test strength of either 2,000 or 2,500 pounds. I think it will withstand this application.

Nice product for short term but only lasted about 18 months if you use clamps to secure. . This stuff can't be clamped tight enough to not slip without damaging the coating and letting moisture it to rust the metal cable. All of my lines broke before they should have. The only way to secure this stuff is to tie (maybe). However, Tying a decent knot with this is a bit tricky to keep it tied. I will not repurchase as the local Amish community has been using a braid covered cable that they like and will try that. BTW - I do have a clothes dryer. I just prefer line dried clothing. No chemicals. No electric or gas bill!!

Read the reviews and thought for sure this would be great. I will not use wire like this for my wash line and pay for something if this standard
