Perfect kit for someone who’s never tuned or waxed before. Instructions are included. Just make sure to buy base cleaner also. Carrying case is perfect. Great value for money. Edge tuner seems a little flimsy but can upgrade that down the road. Scrappers and brushes and iron are all perfect.

Great product! Compared a lot of different kits and this one seemed to have everything you could need and was definitely the best bang for your buck. Long time boarder who was tired of paying for wax and tunes so I got this kit. Instructions are easy to understand. Comes with everything you need. The temp control on the iron works great and I’ve never had a problem over heating or under heating if you falling the suggestion on the wax you buy. The kit pays for itself it just a few waxes. Takes a little practice but I’m already waxing at the same level as a board shop. Highly recommend

Picked this up to wax my snowboard at home and it works well. Easy to use and gets the job done without any issues. Helped spread the wax evenly and made the whole process quicker. Feels solid enough and works as expected. I’ve used it a couple of times already and I’m satisfied with the purchase.

This kit performed as expected. I would order the OutdoorMaster Ski Snowboard Tuning and Waxing Kit (upgrade) instead. In addition to everything this kit has it comes with an apron,3 times the amount of wax, Ptex,Fixer Screw, Rubber Band and decent instructional videos. The QR code link to the videos that came with this kit are a joke. You are better off watching general youtube videos. I will say it has a nice bag and gets the job done. Throw some rubber bands in for people though… seriously

Bought this kit to start tuning my own board this season to save money. So far it's been great as I've done enough YouTube research to utilize pretty much everything in the kit. A few things that have come up so far: 1) The plastic scraper will get dull pretty quick, but you can use the stick file to sharpen it. There's a YouTube video on how to do it. 2) I find myself mostly using the Brass brush pre wax, and nylon brush post wax, haven't had much use for the boar hair brush yet in my routine. 3) I splurged and got the 3 pack of diamond stones separately from this same brand as well. I was hoping they would fit in the white edge tool but they did not so I have to use them free hand. In the future I would recommend someone buying the whole diamond stone kit with the black edge tool instead of getting just the stones. 4) I think the fine grade scotch pad in the kit that I use for the final buff on my board will wear down pretty quick based on my use of it so far. So I'm already looking at options to buy another few of them separately before it wears down too much. Other than that, this is a great kit for the price!

I know nothing about snow boarding, but my boyfriend loves it. He needed a new maintenance kit, and I trusted this seller would know what he needed to do a good, thorough job, and it seemed to be a hit! He loved waxing his board over the Christmas holiday break (it was a gift from me!). Uses it every winter. The carrying/storage bag is really nice, and pretty sturdy.

I really like the iron that came with it and the three different brushes. I started snowboarding this past season and my board was getting really dirty from the spring riding. I needed to get it wax pretty often as I went snowboarding twice a week. It was starting to become a hassle until I decided that I was going to just simply buy my own kit and do it myself. Generally everytime you get a hot wax at the resort it’s generally around $15-$20 depending on the resort. But with this kit I ended up saving a lot of money, and on top of that I ended up helping out my friends by waxing their boards too. Great value for the price, and a great product all together.

This is a great kit for Tuning(not sharpeing) and waxing your board/skis For those new to this like me. The files in this kit are for completely changing your sidewall edge NOT sharpening them. Its also not for your base edge. It also has a couple sticks for repair to the bottom of your board/skis Demon does offer a sharpening kit but it doesn't come with a wax kit like this does which annoys me but its not the end of the world. If you've never done this before. Scraping off the wax makes a huge mess so be prepared for that. Love the kit. The directions likes to use DS #s to describe tools. That is ok it if also says the name of the tool after, but if it doesnt, a beginner like me has no idea what you're talking about. I suggest youtubing how to tune, sharpen edges, and wax your board/skis to see if the tools you need/want are what is offered in this kit. I tuned my old used board this time but I doubt I'll ever tune a board again. Sharpening edges and waxing is usually all one needs to do each season.

I bought this before the snow season because waxing/tuning 3 boards and buying this set would cost basically the same amount of money. The tools were easy to use. There are dozens of how to guides on youtube about how to wax/tune your own board/skis. The iron heated up quickly and I had to actually turn mine down to medium low in order to not burn the wax. I made sure to lay down extra newspaper around my board/workspace, because there's a lot of wax shavings that will come off your board once you're at the wax removing/scraping stage. On the wax bar, it's divided up into thirds. I used one third of the wax for 3 snowboards. It wasn't a very hard process, and was actually rather relaxing being able to do it myself. my only advice? When you're scraping wax off your board, use gloves because the metal scraper is fairly sharp all around - I had cuts on my fingers of both hands without realizing after I finished scraping one board down. do NOT check the snowboard/ski edge sharpness by running your finger along it either. You can use the back of your nail - if you scrap your nail across the sharpened edge, nail bits should come off when the edge is sharp enough.

This is a very good kit. It would be nice to include a base cleaner. Also, when using the iron first time, make sure that its power output is set to correct input voltage level (120V/230V). It was set to 120V when I received it, and I switched it to 230V for the UK mains. There is no warning on packaging about this, but this might be important not to damage the iron.

Waxed 3 boards now and seems to be good so far , has everything you need plus some.
