At first, I was reluctant to try this - who wants to eat slime (?). Right? When my Speech Pathologist suggested it and described it as pond scum, I was not excited. Unfortunately, I was at a place where nothing else was working. Fastforward two weeks...I can see the difference. I haven't tasted any acidic fluids in my mouth, and my usual reflux or regurgitation has diminished. I almost happened without me noticing - I had to really think about the last time I experienced it. That being said, the taste is quite pleasant and quick; it's gone before you know it and the jelly form is not what I anticipated. I definitely recommend this product.

My doctor gave me two samples of this last time I was in her office. One night I ate way too late and of course in a couple of hours I felt the ucky burn. I immediately remember the two packets in my purse. Took one and all was well. I love the packaging because it makes it so easy to use, the convenience to take on a trip, and it was very effective. This will be my go to product to keep on hand. Both flavors are good and in this packaging I don't have to guess about dosage. Great product!

I was expecting chalky, medicine-flavored sadness — but it’s smooth, creamy, and honestly tastes like dessert your grandma would sneak you when your parents weren’t looking. Effectiveness? It’s pretty good. Not a magic potion, but definitely takes the edge off minor reflux or those “oops-I-had-salsa-again” moments. I wouldn’t call it a heavyweight champ for raging GERD battles, but for mild or occasional flare-ups (especially something like LPR or light-duty GERD), it holds its own nicely. If your reflux is more “mild drama” than “full-blown firestorm,” this might be your tasty little hero. Just don’t expect it to wrestle down a triple-pepperoni pizza situation.

Where has this been while I’ve been keeping Tums in business? This is a fantastic, natural, and fairly great tasting solution to nighttime reflux! So glad I found it. Started using it a week ago and haven’t been woken up by reflux since. The vanilla caramel is my favorite but the chocolate mint is fine, too!

I ordered the travel pack because I thought it would help with getting the right portion each time however, I went through that bag in a week based on the instructions. This is a really expensive product for someone having a major flareup. Financial aspect aside, It tastes well, goes down well and I think the product helped. It’s not a miracle product, but I definitely think it is a natural way to get the alginate raft. I wouldnt say that this is more or less effective than other alginate raft products. I did purchase the tube this go round and will use this in certain instances but not as an everyday all day product.

This is just what I need to fill in the gaps for my breakout reflux symptoms. I have Barrett’s esophagus AND achalasia. This has provided immense relief. Almost instantly the pain subsides. One of my Doctors at Mayo Clinic suggested (not GI doc). It intrigued me and I had nothing to lose. When I asked my GI doc about it, she almost jumped out of her chair with glee. She uses it herself.
