How easy is it to move it from one location to another?

Just take it off by tilting it per instructions to get the magnet to release and move to new location.

Will an Ipad with a protective case on fit in it? Another words, what is the maximum width/thickness can it hold? My case makes the ipad thicker

How much weight can the magnetic hold up? Can it hold up a medium size portable monitor?

It's a high powered magnet, but not made for monitors. I don't see that happening. My tablet has no problem
