Wireless Call Button Caregiver Pager Nurse Call System for Elderly/Patients at Home/Hospital with Voice Announcements and LED Number Display (6 Waterproof Call Button & 2 Receiver)

Living alone and getting old, my wife and I decided a while ago that it would be good to have some kind of call for help available should a need for assistance arise, which it does, both medically and simply to have an extra hand or a "come here for a sec" moment. These fill the bill nicely. We differentiate between emergency versus non-emergency by either repeated pressing of the call button versus single presses, respectively. We placed them in key locations throughout the house/property... but quickly realized we wanted more call buttons. So we bought another set of buttons/receivers - could not find them sold separately. We live on a roughly 125'x325' property and these work from any point inside and outside the 2 floor and cellared house. If I'm working outside I just hang one around my neck (under the shirt to keep it out of the way). Part of the rating for this asks about battery life... No idea how long the button's batteries will last until they stop working for the first time - have not owned them long enough to evaluate that as of this critique. While the buttons could probably be smaller, they are not overly large or bulky (2.75"x2"x1") - the red button is the size of a U.S. quarter. Would be nice to have a ring or wristband version. Technically, this product is a prime example of plug and play.

Contacted CallToU because 1 call button was not working. Received a response the next day with pairing instructions. Unfortunately that did not work. CallToU advised they would send 4 call buttons to replace the defective one. Everything else works as advertized. My husband has Parkinson's and he likes the security of being able to call me when he falls or needs help. Very pleased with the quick and helpful service!

Exactly what I need for my adult foster home. I love the fact that I can add later as I grow.

Difficult to program key fobs for “other” numbers…had trouble moving from fob 1 to fob 2. Otherwise this seems to suit its purpose

It was fine but after receiving it I realized that since the base receiver plugs in to an outlet I couldn’t move it from room to room; it had to stay in one location. I need to be able to have one in the bedroom & one in the living room; so I returned it & re-ordered the same thing but with 2 base receivers. Side note, the box was missing the self-adhesive pads & screws to mount the call buttons.

It works well so far! Very easy to set up, loud at first so don’t be alarmed, but it is easy to adjust. I do wish it had more subtle sound options to choose from. And that the numbers would stay lit longer, possibly with an option to clear the call. Otherwise happy with it, and the customer service has been good so far!
