Piece of garbage
Garbage product. You can see how the bolt is crooked. The spot where the bolt is "crimped" onto the spring mechanism is loose and causing the bolt to not sit flush so you can't open the latch without it sticking. Garbage production quality & craftsmanship. I'd pay twice as much for one made right.

Bought 2. One works fine, other one not so much.
So, I bought 2 of these locks to cheaply replace ancient versions of this lock. Build quality seems okay, using light weight materials. Quick install with all new hardware provided. Downside, one of the locks wouldn't release the key from the lock cylinder. Eventually resulting in the key breaking off in the cylinder.

This lock fit perfectly.
We have a very old house. When the lock mechanism failed I did not think I was going to be able to find a replacement, but here it is. As an added bonus, it works perfectly and it fit!
