Does the job intended. Straight lines with a pencil. sturdy and well made. Would buy again.

Great triangle for hand-drafting in graphite.

Bigger than most which is what I want. Good plastic. They're triangles. Not much more to say.

These are professional grade triangles. The outside edges are sharp and square. The inside of the square have beveled edges to easily grasp and lift the triangle off the vellum or print.

Wanted some inexpensive squares for layout in my workshop. These fit the bill.

These are a replacement set. I must begin by saying I love Alvin products. They were not offering the practically indestructible set I actually wanted, and I doubt they even still make them. The "newer models" are simply more breakable and there isn't much I can do about that. Alvin still makes sturdier products than their competitors, in my opinion. I have to go with 3 stars though, because I waited a really long time (8 or 9 days) for what was should have been a two day ship, and then I received clear when I'd ordered the smoke tinted set. I didn't mind waiting because I did order right after the back-to-school rush, but to receive the wrong item after that long of a wait - and after I'd already chosen a substitute for the set I truly wanted - was unexpectedly disappointing for such a reliable company I have preferred for 30 years. I find the fully transparent items add dramatically to eye strain and therefore always opt for tinted products. I could have purchased any breakable, clear set in a brick and mortar and had them the same day. I will likely gift these to someone who doesn't mind that they are clear and re-order another tinted set for myself. Frustrating. I am still brand loyal, but perhaps I will not order via Amazon in the future.

You might think that triangles can't go wrong. But I bought one set before (different product) and I had the following problems: -the edge have slope, so it tend to slip under the T-square like a chisel -tainted clear, not 100% clear, so it is not so easy to see through These triangles have good thickness and straight edges so they align well with the T-square. And they are just clear without taint or anything so you can easily see through. The only thing is that they are not graduated, probably on purpose to maximize clarity, so keep that in mind if you are looking for graduated triangles

They're fine triangles. However, they are rather large and don't have an inking edge to them. If you are doing larger drawings in pencil, these will work fine. If you want to use them for ink, you'll have to tape something underneath them to avoid smearing.

Would have been better if they had measurements on them
