Easter Bugs : A Springtime Pop-up by David A Carter

My son loves this book so much that I'm going to have to buy more copies because the silver bugs have been pulled out. It's short and sweet, so perfect for a baby who is on the go!

My children now aged 21-32 absolutely loved the two bug books we owned. They all looked for Jingle Bugs every Christmas season when I unpacked our Christmas books. I was happily surprised to find that David Carter had been very busy adding more bugs to live in the imagination of young children. I mailed the Love Bugs to my grandsons for Valentine's day and each young boy as well as each of their parents was delighted with the books. Now I am putting Easter Bugs in each of their baskets. My husband and I have both looked thru Easter Bugs a had such wonderful memories of our kids and the bugs and now that same delight will be felt by a whole new generation! Thank you David Carter!

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter for Easter. It really is cute but my very literal daughter kept saying “that’s not a bunny bug that’s just a bunny” to every page that referenced something that wasn’t really a bug. She also very easily ripped the pop up basket on the last page even though she’s a very respectful child with books. I was able to tape it back on but if you have a rough child this book will get destroyed.

My husband came home last Christmas with "Winter Bugs" for our then 2mo son. We were like, what the heck is a winter bug? But the book was really cute and our son seemed to enjoy us reading it to him. I was surfing Amazon recently and stumbled across some other bug pop-up books by David Carter. Easter is coming up so I bought "Easter Bugs" for his basket. I also bought "Bedtime Bugs" because it looked cute. Lastly, my son is an October baby, so I bought "Halloween Bugs" and "Birthday Bugs." We're going to have a house full of bugs! Each book is adorable. I'm a little concerned about the delicacy of the designs, since they are so intricate, but I'm hoping we can teach him to be careful as we read them together. Recommended for your home library.

Short but cute and very creative. Makes for entertaining reading for little ones.

Very nice wee book! In very good condition - especially considering the type of book it is and the audience it would be purchased for!

I originally bought this book for my first grandaughter for Easter instead of chocolate. They were so thrilled with it they bought some of the others by the same author. I have now bought it for my second grandaughter. It is not for tiny fingers but has delightful pop up pictures of different eggs.
