I put these lights under my banister going up the stairs. They work perfect. Motion detection is VERY strong. Due to the layout of my house I put the sensor at the end of the banister. But my laundry room, half bath and front door are all in that general area. Anytime I go to any of these place the light cuts on, even if I'm several feet across the hall. Not an issue for me that the product actually works well lol. If yours would be placed in a high traffic area that would catch alot of motion and this WOULD bother you... then maybe you should look for a different light. Has timer for how long it stays lit (15 seconds, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds) I have the 15 second one selected. The battery detaches for easy charging. It comes with a magnet and adhesive. You stick the magnet to the adhesive and the adhesive to the wall. The actual battery unit has a built in magnet so you just get it near the magnet on the wall and it stays stuck but does not tear up your wall everytime you need to take it off and on for charging.

I put this in my pantry (pardon my mess) temporarily (I'm redoing my kitchen in June) and my son and I both love it!! It adds so much light to the space. Midnight snack in the dark? No problem! No other lights needed. I wanted to try it out and see how well it does overall. Once I redo my kitchen I will lose the closet pantry - it will be replaced with cabinet pantries. so I will move the light to my bathroom linen closet. I set it to the 15 seconds (because that's all that's needed) and it lasts 2-3 weeks so far. Easy to charge as well. I didn't hang it in there permanently since it will ultimately be moved but I do want to find something for the cabinets I ultimately get too. Because that sounds amazing as well! I may get another for my son's closet after I redo it too. The pic is at night with no other lights on in the rooms nearby. The motion sensor is quite sensitive if we leave the pantry door open... It will trigger from ten feet away walking in the hallway not even right in front of it. Definitely worth the purchase. :)
