Alright Lights.... Excellent customer service
I got this for a small studio to fill in spots with color. These work great for that. If they stay on one color or have sound mode activated then they are for you. I had these for about a year now, I put about 50-60 hours on them and some the LEDs are burnt on a couple of the fixtures.* If you try to use dmx you might have some trouble.** I have tried with it and used many different terminators but still have the signal reflect which causes occasional flicker. Overall these are good lights.*After talking with customer service they were able to help me solve the problem with the lights. They are really supportive.**Customer service was able to help me with the DMX part and solved any issues I had. Great team they have.Conclusion- these are great beginner lights for a DJ rig, school dance, spice up a room or work place but don't expect them to perform like name brands do.

Great as long as you don’t need DMX control.
So I have existing DMX lights that I dj with thinking these would just add in to my series. Sadly I wasn’t able to assign the DMX channel to 1 so it would match. Major deal breaker. Aside from that if these are your first lights that dont need to sync to anything they’re great. But try using a DMX controller and you’re on your own. Can’t even determine how to turn them off or in via my controller. I have about 22 other lights that I setup and programmed so my system works. Just wanted some additional lights for my stage.UPDATE: Customer service reached out and was very helpful trying to resolve the issue. Would love to know if anyone else had any success using this with standard DMX controllers. As I mentioned, the quality is pretty solid and they are bright enough for anyone looking for basic, entry level lighting. Will post pics after my gig this weekend.

Decent for the money
Very inexpensive and not terrible build quality. paired with a DMX controller they are pretty good. They are not without fault though. My biggest complaint is the lack of documentation. the "Manual" or rather piece of paper has little useful info. The other big thing is the flicker, and I dont mean on video or in pictures, i mean the random blinks. When hooked up to a DMX controller, randomly they will flicker, and not even everytime. If you shut the controller off but leave them connected, they still do it. I have other lights that dont do this even when they are daisy'd together and on the same channel. last issue is the greatly varying color/brightness. some are more blue and purple, some are more green. I think this has more to do with poor quality LEDs. I would still buy them again though.

Good Price - Work Well When New - Plan to Replace After Time
Hard to find anything nearly this inexpensive but on the downside, the life of these fixtures is limited in my estimation. We are operating 25 these to provide a color wash over the club walls. The lights are probably operated an average of 8 hours per week or less They are operated in DMX mode and are sometimes left in one color or another and other times the colors are changing. After 2 years operation we beginning to replace many of the fixtures as individual LEDs fail to the extent of not being able to get desired colors. In our use, we see the blue LEDs fail more quickly than other colors.

Decent Lights For The Money
Only weird thing is that DMX channel 1 is a dimmer for the first 50% and a strobe for the final 50%. I wish that the strobe and dimmer fades were independent. That being said, if you program your lights with that in mind they work quite well. For a cheap entry level light, they are bright and colorful, but the color blending is not great (kinda what you expect for the price). I wouldn't buy them again, but I do still use them as non-primary washes a lot. Great for beginners.

We bought a pack of 8 to replace the two defunct ones. Of that 8 one was dead on arrival! Original comments about penumbra etc
They work fine by themselves or in a DMX line. But, out of the eight we bought two have gone belly up. (That's in about wo months I guess). Both showed intermittent behavior to no behavior (auto or DMX) at all. Both showed good 12v to the logic board and freeze spray bought back intermittent flashing, Ergo - it looks like a surface mount device has lost contact with the PCB, No SMT facility here so having to write these units off! Bottom line; at the cost of these you can throw them out I guess but it does indicate poor QC at the (Chinese) factory. I'm keeping them in case another one gets its face smashed in and we can use its logic board. Oh - yeh - OK for DJ's and Bands but no good for stage due to the RGB periphery ring. Suppose we could put all on green or a single color for a small cyc.

Spend more get more
These lights are so cheap for a reason. Running them on DMX is exceptionally difficult. If all you want is to put them on and have them dance to music, you'll probably be fine. If you intend to control them in any way, you're pretty much wasting your time. They aren't horrible, but if you're trying to design real lighting looks these are probably not the lights you're looking for. Spend a little more money and get something easier to use/better quality. If this is all the money you've got, just know you're in for a lot of headache.

Fixture can't blend colors with Red.
Light was smaller than expected but that didn't hurt the brightness at all. Construction was solid the DMX assigning by dipswitch left a lot to be desired but it's a bargin fixture. The RGB colors were handsome though kinda of undefined. For most part these fixtures would be a wash or fill light and we had concern they would cover larger stages. We never went that far we boxed them up and returned after looking at only 3 of the 8 fixtures. The fatal flaw was obvious by 3 fixtures in.There are 8 more RED LED's than there are blue and green which over powers blending. The fixture can't make yellow its more of a yellowishish green red with a hint of orange. Same with purple, orange, any blended color needing red. The fixture can't blend colors so that was a deal killer.
