Pillowtex feather down-proof ,cotton pillow protectors are the best . I love them, I have these covers on all of my down pillows .These down proof pillow protectors have done the job. No more feathers all over the place, the construction is great ,and the soft cotton is breathable. I tried a lot of other feather proof pillow covers before I found Pillowtex . The search was worth it. I think these Pillowtex down pillows ,pillow covers, downcomforters and covers ,are great holiday gift ideas that can be enjoyed everyday and night. Fantastic cover for down pillows! I got barely hold my pillow for all the quills poking out when I put the cover on I could not feel any! Pillow cover is very soft. I only wish they came in multiple sizes for my other pillows on my couch..

Finally poke free. After having the "genius" idea to combine my king size feather pillow with a standard size to make two queens...yeah not a smart plan...I struggled with feathers poking my face. The protectors I originally purchased did nothing to prevent this so I bit the bullet and paid a bit more for this case cover instead and must say it works great! No more sleeplessness or discomfort. Worth every penny.

These are nice pillow protectors. They are a nice thicker crisp cool cotton and just feel like good quality. Even the zippers seem strong and smooth and like they will last a long time. They have that luxury hotel feel that I like. They washed and dried well and didn't shrink even though I washed them in hot water and dried them on medium heat. I always wash my bedding in hot water. They do come out of the dryer a little wrinkled as is typical with cotton (even though I removed them from the dryer immediately) but once they were put on the pillows along with pillow cases were it's not noticeable. They fit perfectly on my fluffy queen size 100% down feather pillows. I always keep 2 cotton pillow protectors on my pillows under my pillow cases for extra protection because I don't like waterproof ones but I was still having an issue with tiny little down feathers sticking out of my pillow here and there poking me in my face. I still put one of my other cotton protectors on with these so there are still 2 for that extra protection of my expensive pillows but now I haven't noticed ANY feathers poking out of my pillows anymore since I put them on. So they definitely work and I feel like my pillows are even more protected because these are much nicer than my other cotton protectors. I also love that these are from a veteran owned company even though it is disappointing that they are made in China..... The only issue I do have is that I think they are just a little too expensive for such low thread count of only 233. For the price of over $20 per cover it seems like they should be at least 300 or even higher. However, they do work well and they feel really nice and I actually just bought a third one for my daughter's pillow. Now I only wish they would make more sizes for my feather throw pillows that constantly have feathers poking out and then I would buy even more. So yes I do recommend these if you don't mind the high price and I will probably buy more in the future but since I just paid about $65 for 3 of them I think I'll wait a while. Lol I'll keep my eyes on them to see if they lower the price a little or even go on sale. To be fair my other cotton protectors were much cheaper but there is an obvious difference in the feel and quality but if these were just a little cheaper then they absolutely would have got 5 stars. I hope this review with the pictures was helpful to you in making a decision on whether or not to purchase these pillow protectors. This pillowcase is virtually 100% featherproof. I've had this for quite a few months now and only a couple of feathers have escaped. I really like how it's 100% cotton, so it's breathable. It does have a very slight stiffness to it, but it's very easy to get used to it. The only thing I'd change is the seams on the inside are not finished! I've washed it a couple of times now and trimming the loose threads on the inside is kind of annoying. I'd recommend only laundering when necessary. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the product and it was worth the money to me. 9/10

These pillow protectors are thicker than normal ones which is good when trying to protect yourself from feathers. They are nice sized zippers work well. This does the job and it’s worth every penny. I couldn’t sleep with my feather pillow, poking me from all sides and I was about to throw it out. Once I put this on, I have already had a week off restful sleep on a buttery soft pill with zero pokes.

I like the softness. The feathers do not penetrate so far. BUT I purchased a king size and it is about 4 inches to short therefore it does not look attractive in the case when it’s not full and flopping on the ends.
