I was genuinely taken aback due to the brightness off the light designs emitted from this unit. I bought to add a fun element when I DJ in my basement. The usb power cord is a great feature to have, I can use my DJ controller as the power source. The frame on the unit allows you to ceiling mount or use as a stand for easy placement. It would be cool if it had DMX capability but would buy again regardless.

There are only two good patterns which is the green/red laser design together. All the other designs are mediocre or overpowered by the random 3rd light that changes randomly and doesn't flow well. Also the green pattern by itself has the lowest brightness setting, so it's useless on it's own, which is ironic because greens should be the very bright by default. After a few months use, the internal components started going out, the internal fan started making a VERY LOUD annoying sound. Overall, it's probably worth the buy when under $30 but no more than that. Cord length is also too short if you plan on hanging it in a corner. You'll need an extension cord.

Tried turning the device on, but it only starts sometimes. When it does work, the display of lights is nice. I’m thinking that it is defective. It’s frustrating to pay so much for something that doesn’t work properly. Not worth the expense.

The device works perfectly as expected but it is not battery or USB powered which is highly misleading.They also claim a backup of 8 hours eventhough there is battery at all.
