Non-stick Cooking
Stand back, stand well back, Duncurin has been cooking. Enter this super set of two pans, courtesy of Vine and Tefal. My parents used an Aga as their cooker throughout the time I was growing up. The principles upon which this rests are mainly of Victorian heavy engineering with very weighty pans, kettles, casserole dishes; all of which have heavy machined very flat bases through which the Aga heat is transferred. The only problem is that they can be very, very heavy, are difficult to use and also difficult to wash up afterwards. This pan set is the opposite of this. Both pans are made of Aluminium and are very easy to lift and move. The non-stick lining, both inside and out is a real boon after cooking whether using oil or not as the remaining cooked food simply drops off with a quick whizz round under water.Cooking omelettes today for instance the entire contents go straight in the pan after a couple of quick squirts of the one-cal stuff and away we went. Please note heat transfer is not as thorough as that of a traditional cast iron pan as discussed above – but lightness in use and ease of cooking more than make up for this. All cooking types are supported and my gas-fired Aga had no trouble. Please note that the pans and the common lid are safe in the oven up to about gas mark 4. I’m not really sure as to what temperature my Aga ovens run at as cooking is entirely dependent on the position of the dish within the oven rather than allowing oven heat to be set. The newer Agas which run on electricity and have more ovens may be better in this regard but I would not want to risk one of these pans, nor the lid in my roasting oven. All in all, Duncurin thinks that cookware like this will be much more the norm. Lighter, more flexible and above all easier to clean – what’s not to like. Please see a photo of my efforts in progress. Many thanks.

Good frying pans, nice lid
The media could not be loaded. Here we've got a set of two frying pans with an universal glass lid, fitting both pans and any other similar range pans or saucepans. Both pans are made well enough, can't say the best pans I've ever seen but for this price range, they're definitely good.Aren't sticking as They've got that layer which allows to cook without sticking food to the bottom of the pan.The handles for both of them are good and strong. For the first times after using, it wasn't difficult to clean the pans but it definitely has to be done very finely and carefully not to scratch it.Can't say any of these two are lightweight, but I didn't expect them to be lightweight and honestly I'd be disappointed if any of these pans would be so here's all good - strong and good pans. The lid is a bit weird for me - it is designed to fit both pans and it does this job but that silicone edge is catching a lot of dust and looks like dirty all the time, even 5 minutes after cleaning it...Also, the price here is a bit spicy, probably because of the influencer from the box.

Two good pans with one universal lid
First of all I need to tell you that I did not purchase this item but it was sent to me by Amazon in return for an unbiased and honest review.Prestige - Nadiya - Nesting Frying pans - Stackable - Non Stick - PFOA Free Interior - Dishwasher, Oven and Fridge/Freezer SafeComes in a lovely box so would be an ideal house warming gift.Prestige is an age old name linked with quality.Everything you could want from a frying pan really, I like that the one is deep so a bit like a small wok - very handy.Suitable for all kinds of hobs.Oven safe.Ten year guarantee.A disadvantage could be that when cooking with them both you can only cover one with a lid.The smaller of the two - the handle is a bit loose - whether it will get worse as time goes on I don’t know.Cleans easily but all pans do when new don’t they…Dishwasher safe. The thing I really like is the weight - not flimsy but quite lightweight in comparison to some I have - so makes it much easier for me to lift. All in all a lovely set of pans and recommended.

A joy to cook with
Endorsed by Nadiya from GBBO, these two frying pans are excellent for cooking - they are lightweight, with handles that are comfortable to hold. The larger is big and deep enough to not only fry in, but to make smaller portions of bolognese, stew etc. The included lid is well designed and the silicone rings mean it will fit on either of the pans - a slight downside though is that there is only one lid, so if you were using both pans simultaneously, you'd only be able to cover one.Cooking is quick and easy, and the non-stick works perfectly - these pans make the most perfect fried eggs I've ever had! They are really easy to wash - I recommend using silicon spatulas when cooking, and a gentle sponge when washing so that the coating will last. These aren't the cheapest frying pans you'll find, but so far they definitely seem as though they will last for years.

A GOOD SET OF TWO PANS AND UNIVERSAL LID.
Two pans on lid.The lid has a silicon ring with indents around the edge so it can be used with three different sized pans. This I think is a very clever design idea though if you are using more than one pan at the same time, you only have one lid.The nonstick coating feels robust and it works extremely well. The finish is very good. Having owned Prestige pans over the years, if looked after they last an inordinately amount of time. One major advantage of the pans is that they are light weight and they heat quickly and I much prefer a lightweight pan. I also like the fact that they are less bling more utilitarian.Only one minor niggle and that is the larger pan handle wobbles slightly and has not been tightened correctly. Prestige might want to address the quality control especially considering it is a newly released product. It might just be a one off glitch.
