My Rescue Dog Rescued Me: Amazing True Stories of Adopted Canine Heroes

All of the pets I have had were adopted. I would never consider buying from a breeder. This compilation of stories touched my heart. I think that this book would appeal to ALL dog lovers. Great book.

These were great stories. A few had me close to tears and I cried buckets after one story. It's amazing what a pet can do for you. I have a cat and she senses my moods and adapts accordingly, giving me the love and attention I need.

This book is a collection of short stories about the bonding that takes place between people and their adopted dogs. Written very simplistically but believably.

What an inspirational read!! Heartwarming, beautiful, and shows the amazing relationship between dog and owner. Well written and hard to put down. Highly recommend!

I felt this book spotlighted the wonderful dogs that are in shelters everywhere. They love you no matter what and will give you much more than you give them. They will make you their whole world and will protect you with their life. All I know is we don't deserve these wonderful animals!

I was the individual involved in this story and will never forget that amazing dog.I still have scars all over my body from that attack but I'm alive.I have loved many rescues dogs in my life. He was my favorite.Thank you for letting me be a part of this wonderful book.

This is a marvellous book about very special people and the dogs they rescued. The dogs have saved their owners from harm, almost certain death. It's a very special bond between dog and owner that never could be broken. It's a very heart warming book, easy to read and very touching. I have a dog who has saved me from drowning in the bath when I fell asleep.. I was woken up by barking, scratching at the door, he eventually managed to open the door, I always leave the door ajar. The next thing I was aware of was I in a bath of freezing water with my dog barking , scratching at the bath. When I checked the time it emerged that I had been in the bath nearly two hours. I'm convinced he saved my life. He now always sits outside the door while I take a bath.Bless his heart

I found this book really interesting to read and also very moving it proves that cat or dog they really make a difference to us. Whatever we go or have been through that cat or dog is our little friend who get us through the hard times and give us a reason to carry on

Easy to Read being short chapters. It's a feel good book with nice, heart warming stories about the bonds between the dogs and their owners.

Downloaded this book to read on holiday ..... Lovely heartwarming stories about people, who have seen it in their hearts, to take in rescue dogs from various places around the world ,who haven't had the best start in life and in return these dogs have done amazing things for their owners and their families ..... Lovely and heartwarming through out ......

So many short stories each one unique its it's own way we have rescued several dogs ourself over the years so could identify with them I absolutely enjoyed this book and have passed it on to be read by my friend .brilliant each story grabs your heart strings
