I have had this for a while now. I have used it to inspect drain pipes and the dryer vent and it allows me to see what is normally hidden and helps save money and frustration on where things are plugged. The cable is very stiff so it allows you to route it up some distance vertically. My dryer vent goes up out of the roof so this is quite helpful to inspect. It takes some effort to keep the camera from pointing directly at the side of the vent, but when it faces forward, can help you see what is ahead. The lights are a good feature as well.

I was looking for a borescope with a side view camera when I received a “deal of the day” notification for this one. The price was right so I bought one and had it delivered overnight, which was a bonus! I brought it to work with me and coincidentally a coworker was asking the technician next to me to borrow his snap on borescope. I told him to try this one since I just got it and was curious how it would perform. He used it to scope an engine cylinder he was having issues with. He came back to me and was extremely impressed with the clarity of the pictures and the features that this borescope has. He also showed it to our service manager and an advisor. They were all so impressed that they asked me where I got it. I told them I got it on Amazon and let them know the price I paid and all three of them ordered one!

Use this a lot when diagnosing problems with aftertreatment. I can take off a sensor or a piece of exhaust pipe see down into the internals of a turbo or exhaust and see that the issues are without taking off a bunch of parts. Really cuts down on the down time when doing diagnostics.

Decent picture quality. I’ve only used it a few times so far but it’s right in line with what you get at this price point. Will probably upgrade in the future but for now it’s just what I need for occasional automotive use. Would be nice if it came with a case.

great clear image, easy to use right out of the box. only thing i wish was easier to use was if the cord was easier to get into tighter spots; we were using it in our walls and had a hard time pushing it between the beams and the insulation.

Works great, holds a charge a long time.

I purchased this unit to replace a low quality, cheap borescope that I have used to locate roof leaks from below (through a light fixture into a narrow area below a metal roof with no crawl space) and to inspect plumbing and septic tank leaks. It is "all in one" with a color screen and camera in one unit. With my prior scope, I had to connect to an Android tablet or phone. The images are great! Sometimes, for looking at things several feet away, I have to add an additional light source. The unit has rechargeable batteries and runs a long time before recharging is necessary. The price is reasonable and I felt this item was a good value for the money!

I was able to use this to diagnose carbon buildup on the face of the intake valves in my 318 magnum as well as check for cylinder wall and piston damage in other motors. The clarity of the camera is amazing in comparison to the Snap-On my coworker has (and paid $300+ for). This even has capability to save video and pictures to a card as well. Only complaint is that the autoexposure favors the darker part of the images and sometimes I want to see clarity in the hotspots caused by the LED lights. You have to move the camera to work around this "issue". I may even buy the more expensive versions with higher definition because the price is good enough for me to take the gamble and have a backup.

Needed some help in enclosed wall wiring issues - this product is so easy to use - it immediately gave me sharp images of difficult to see areas. The light at the end of the camera cable works well - would highly recommend this product - to record you need a micro sd card - a 32gb card was included with the product which is helpful

I bought this for general purpose use and finally had a use case. I dropped a bolt in my car's engine area and it didn't hit the ground, just couldn't find it. So I got this out and started looking around the engine area and finally found it sitting under the engine in the back resting on top of one of the underneath engine covers. This particular model isn't ideal for automobile use because the flexible stalk is so long that its extra effort to manage maneuvering it around an engine bay but it did the job. If you are looking for something solely for car use, probably better to get one with a shorter stalk. But all in all I'm happy with it for general purpose usages. The image isn't super good, but good enough, lighting is ok. The stalk is stiff enough to hold position while moving it around but it can be awkward given the long length, hard to use for shorter uses at times.

Nice small diameter camera fits through spark plug holes. Good picture quality.

Very impressive view quality for price, seems quite robust will be interesting to see the test of time
