As a postmodern/ chaos magician I practice a variety of different magical traditions and I have always liked Huna for it's simplicity and practicality. Huna, like some of the most effective magical traditions, such West African magic, Sigil Magic and Voodoo is simple and primitive, which aids the magical act because the subconscious is what makes a magical result possible and as the subconscious deals more easily with images/symbols rather than words, simplicity in a magical system will increase the chances of a magical result. The author of this book was a former student of Clark Wilkerson, an initiated Kahuna in the Huna tradition and author of the excellent book on Huna Hawaiian magic, Wilkerson's work is an excellent primer on the theory and some of the beginning aspects of Huna but The Miracle of Mana-force is a continuation of Wilkerson's teaching, and teaches some of the more advanced and practical aspects of Huna. As a Parker Publishing book, one could be fooled into thinking that this is another sensational, far fetched Parker tome but in spite of this the information in this book is actually solid, so look past the (very) many success stories and as the Buddha said, "take that which is useful to you and leave the rest". Unlike most books on Huna , this book isn't just about spirituality, which is important but as we live in a material world, it also teaches how to use Huna for material, as well as spiritual ends which, contrary to popular belief is not a bad thing. Some people in the occult community view the act of using the occult for material gains as "black" magic and nothing could be farther from the truth, as any true occultist knows, magic is not black or white, magic JUST IS, and it is one's intent that colors it. The information in this book is advanced and is the kind of information that Wilkerson advised should be taught in person because of the potential for abuse so let your conscience be your guide. As for the techniques used in the book I won't get into specifics because I believe that any genuine seeker should read this book but the book covers variations on one powerful technique and is written in such a manner that you can adapt this technique for ANY purpose you can imagine. I have used the techniques in this book to great effect and I continue to use them in my magical practice and will continue to do so and I hope you will do the same, Mahalo (thanks).

Always have been interested in Huna. Have several books on the subject. I purchased this book and did the lady luck meditation at the back of the book. Went to local casino and one over $1300 dollars. So maybe there is something to it. I enjoyed the book.

Best book I ever read about manifesting. Excellent how-to exercises on every topic.
