Install the app, plug this in via your preferred charging method and in time fully backs up all your photos and contacts, once a full backup is done it will then only do whatever is new rather than all your photos again. Using sandisk extreme cards and they work a treat. Really clever little gadget, recommended for anyone for peace of mind of having all those precious memories saved elsewhere.

The Qubii Pro does the job, it backs up your photos from the camera roll to a MicroSD card (not supplied) and charges your device at the same time. If you have the latest iPad Pro you will have to buy a USB Type-C to USB-A Male 3.1 Gen2 Cable. You will need to download the free Qubii Pro App which is easy to set up and enables you to to backup, browse and restore files. Full backup of the camera roll and contacts is automatic when you connect your device but you can backup files including pdf and some other files manually. The App automatically sets up separate folders for iPhone, iPad camera backups and contacts and other albums. You can backup more than one iPhone or iPad but you can't set up your own folders or sub folders so all iPhone backups are backed up to the iPhone folder and all iPad backups are backed up to the iPad folder etc. As I say it does the job but it could be so much better if the App gave you more control of folders and what you can backup.

I ordered it a while ago could nor set it up and had to get an IT person and reported that the sim card was faulty. IT is no use to me and happy to return it

Tiny (2cm square) cube, very easy to use, app is flawless, and it's backed up all our photos on three iPhones with zero drama. Just what I was after to keep everything in a safe as well as a cloud.

Great little item for the less technical people in your life or those that don’t carry out regular back ups to device or cloud. Although slightly pricey when you add the price of an SD Card to the item

This is exactly what I needed! I was tired of trying to sort pictures and get them all on my computer and remembering to schedule time to do so. I also needed a backup of those copies in case something happened to the first. I had collected over 3,000 pictures on my phone from some vacations and the software that automatically pulls down pics off my phone was giving me grief because it couldn't handle the task. I don't like to delete any of my pics especially from travel as I sometimes find one I didn't know I had and print it on canvas for my walls. I had a USB device that I could plug in my phone using a program and choose what photos to download but it's size was limited and it often download duplicates which is annoying when you have so many pictures. This device solved all my problems. It knows where it last stopped and picks up there and doesn't create duplicates which is an abosolute MUST! I already had quality micro sd cards so I used my own and it was so easy! Now when I plug in my phone it just takes seconds after the initial first backup. I also used it to transfer large video files from my ipad to another device that I had taken with a GoPro and edited. It worked like a charm. I used the device to help my husband back up his files from his phone onto his own micro sd card. We did have one small issue with his, it kept hanging in one spot and not moving forward, file #774 to be exact. I checked the micro sd card to see what the last file it downloaded was and then went to his phone and found the next file which was a very long video that he didn't need or want anymore. We deleted it and voila, it continued. Not sure what we would have done if he wanted that video...maybe put it directly on a computer before deleting or air dropping it to his ipad before deleting off his phone. After that snafu, it worked great. I was puzzled because my backup had no problems at all but we solved his and went on our merry way. After reading troubleshooting, it did say if you have a corrupt file it may cause it problems. The convenience of plugging it in and knowing things back up is great and it will be a must have when I go on vacation again and take lots and lots of photos. In fact everyone in our house will have their micro-sd with them on vacation so we can all back up our photos right when we are on our extended vacations taking hundreds of pictures! Great product!

Very easy to use. Installed the app on my iPhone and when I plugged the phone to charge, it backed up all of my photos. The backed up photos had the proper dates to when I took the pictures, which makes it easy to sort on my computer. Highly recommend!
