Bought these to add lights in my cargo van that I use to transport dogs. They really brighten up the back of my van. I have used them for 10 trips across USA and they still work amazing. Very easy to install only took 20 min to install 2 sets of lights. Worth the money!

I am repeat customer. I bought these a year ago. In the van, first one start blinking. And another and another!! WATCH THE VIDEO !! OK I am electronic circuit designer. I KNOW what you did. You ship this product WITHOUT the protection diode included. WHY? It cost only pennies. It should be built-into your circuit board assembly. I had to redo my install because you don't put in parts needed. The correct part is 1N4747A, it is 1 Watt, 20 Volt, Zener Diode. Put the circular black band, to the positive wire. It goes in parallel, place where the power feeds the string. (or use 1N4748A, it is 1 Watt, 22 Volt.... but never use 1N4148A, that is something else). My installation is a redo, using the zener protection part. Now all OK !! It is ridiculous this manufacturer ships millions of this product, ALL will fail without the protection !!! I even see the manufacturer uses language that "your power should be protected". LOL ok WATCH THE VIDEO, 11 seconds. YES and the adhesive falls off, and falls off quick !!! SO you got to use the little hole, one hole, on each light. Use a stainless steel, #4 x 5/8" screw. We had a wood strip, put the screw thru the hole, into the wood. OK!

They are amazing.

I installed these in my trailer. They work great and provide plenty of light, the down side tho is the double sided tape is horrible and comes unstuck leaving the lights swooping down in between the pads that are still stuck. Easy fix tho I just added a drop or super glue to the back of the light and stuck it back onto the pad and they haven't came off again. Good set for the price, easy to work with and minimal electrical skill needed

Bought these awhile back, just getting around to installing then in the trailer. Pulled them out of the packaging and luckily it occurred to me to test them before I went through the trouble of wiring them in. Good thing, because 15 of the 20 pods on one strip wouldn't work and 5 of 20 on the other strip. So that's half. 50%. .500 that are defective and a few more that would light up but constantly flicker. It's way past my return window, but if you're looking for some quality LEDs for your application, I would suggest that you look elsewhere.

The foam style adhesive they put on the lights sticks well to metal surfaces, but not to the light modules. Buy a better two-faced tape (political tape) and use it instead of the tape they sent with lights. Other than that, I had 100% of my lights work. Easy to cut apart and easy to solder wire to the cut ends. Easy to install.

I bought these back in march and installed them in the cargo area of my service van, first the adhesive was failing in a few days and was given a credit off to “buy some screws for my local hardware store” other kits come with fasteners as they are so tiny a specific size and using a pilot bit would be highly advised. Now 2 months later 1 section was flocking and failed, a day or two later another, and now another. I have 3 of my 15 sections of lights failing in a random pattern. I was advised to cut the failed sections out and get an additional partial refund. The problem is that I bought the to illuminate my cargo section and then failing and deleting them does little for me. I do not advise purchasing this product.
