This stuff is better than sunscreen. I spent 2.5 weeks in Florida with Redhead skin. I never burned until I quit taking this at the very end of my trip. I was slathered with sunscreen from head to toe when I burned... I began treatment about a week before I left for Florida. An hour after my first pill all my crazy joint pain disappeared for the first time in three months. The muscle pain still there. But, all the "RA" pain GONE, COMPLETELY! ... I had earlier purchased Astaxanthin from Sports Research and the results were kinda in the face. I was quite impressed with it that I purchased another bottle when I finished the first one. It was my mistake to assume that all brands will have similar quality going by the dosage alone. This one does not show much of effect on skin or joints while with Sports Research Asta it was very noticeable. I've probably had 20 of the 180 caps. not sure if having the rest will help much ! Will not purchase this brand again.

A friend of mine turned me on to this supplement. I did some research and found that it is beneficial in preventing macular degeneration which both of my parents had as well as joint health and other benefits. I also read that is acts as an internal uva/uvb protector. I was sceptical but figured I’d test that out as I have fair skin and burn very easily. Wow! This stuff works! I still apply sunscreen but I am able to stay in the sun far longer than I ever haveand I tan now rather than burn! Now that the capsules are 10 mg rather than 4mg it’s even a better value! I have mentioned this to relatives and friends and they are now using it. I’m a believer...
