OtterBox Galaxy S22+ Commuter Series Case - BLACK, slim & tough, pocket-friendly, with port protection

I've been a big OtterBox fan and have always had the defender cases. I was hesitant to get a commuter since it's slimmer. I got to say it's very sturdy, fits in my pocket nicely and looks great. I love the side grips and the overall quality is impressive. I dropped my phone today and it doesn't even show a mark and protected the phone. No scratches are marks. (of course I know individual results may vary) but I'm happy with it.

The case came with a weird bend on the corner, like there was too much material or something when they made it. Even with that, it seems to be holding up well. I have dropped my phone many times and it has held up well. So long as the corner thing didn't happen again, I would buy this another time.

My husband has exclusively used Otterbox for years. He's an elevator mechanic, so his phone has gone down hoistways and hit the bottom of pits, even from 33 floors up, numerous times. We do have to replace them every few years because of this, but will keep choosing Otterbox every time. The case itself will fall apart before his phone breaks, so I will say that it does the job. His current case has been broken for quiet some time so I decided to surprise him on a random Monday with a new one and he's as happy as a pig in slop. I added a comparison photo of his broken Otterbox next to the new one in my last photo. Definitely worth every penny!
