Code Blue (The Atrous Series Book 2)

I love the boys and enjoyed popping back into their world again. However it didn't come without certain things that didn't particularly work for me.Steve was a bit of a hard character for me to judge. Some bits of him just felt wrong to me, like talking back to superiors, no matter how charged the circumstances. And seemingly to completely forget what his job was when Jeremy needed him the most. Especially after what he went through himself I would have expected him to be super conscious. This book was surprisingly clean considering the manhandling that was part of the story. I think perhaps as Jeremy wasn't 100% sure of where he leaned for a large part of it, it kept us away from it progressing more (there's still sexual acts, just not penetration.)Still their relationship was sweet and that is what kept me in the story, not the far too complex stalker plot that felt like it wrapped itself up in circles.Maddox remains one of the joys in life. I think I enjpy his parts with Jeremy more than the rest of it - I love their teasing and easy ways with each other.Overall, I enjoyed this but didn't love it.

A real Groupie
Didn,t think I would enjoy this book as much as I did. Steve really was a lvely man, just right for a famous lead singer in a famous group.Having to have the level of security that Steve provided would be enough to do anyone,s head in.But to have strong feelings for the lead singer, and do his job, was really the making of him.A book that yruly deserves to be read, thank you N.R. Walker.

very good
I wasn’t sure if I was going to read this second install but really glad I gave it a go. It’s a very different story from the first one. The boys are not on your and it’s more of a mystery? Drama? Anyway I’m not sure of that premise worked and carrying it through the whole story and adding so many ‘unbelievable’ moments is something I could have done without. I was sure we were getting a third instalment which was going to be Luke & Blake but maybe just as well it ended here. I liked the two MCs and could see their relationship. I just wish it had more ‘normalcy’ to it😂 the irony! Good book. 4 🌟

Brilliant.
I love this author's story's and this was up there with the best, after reading Code Red i loved that there was going to be another book in the rock star world. This couple was so different that at first i wasn't sure if this relationship was going to work but the more you read as this is a slow burn story you can't help routing for this couple. 4.5 stars.

A fantastic follow up to Code Red
I really enjoyed the first book - Code Red - and I loved this one just as much. Instead of band member and manager, this time we got band member Jeremy and head of security Steve - which was hinted at towards the end of the first book.I loved the dynamic between them and how Jeremy trusted Steve so much despite not really understanding how his feelings towards him were changing. Some other reviews have said they though Jeremy was whiny but I didn’t feel that at all - I kind of liked the over the top whining and pleading to not make him do things, like learning to cook. It was really cute and gave Jeremy stability at a time he needed it.Another fabulous read from author who could write any genre and I’d want to read it.

amazing
Just a wonderful love story set in a rockstar context. The love was real and beautiful and I could see the dynamics between the MCs.

Enjoyable
An enjoyable story with a good cast of characters, but it is too similar to too many other books in the genre to get five stars.
