Came without damage it is well packed from the factory. The queen size has one box that is over 70lbs and the Ups driver did not want to fully deliver wanted me to take it off the truck basically he was not happy when I insisted it be delivered properly. That all being said it took 4 hrs one person to assemble the frame - the 12 drawers you about another two hrs. The frame is sturdy and the drawers have solid wood sides and go together quickly. I would recommend the frame is is a good value since you will no longer need a dresser- for smaller rooms it is a big asset.

We had a serious illness in our family so unfortunately I was not able to assemble this bed as soon as I got it. (It was delivered two months ago)I was so excited to (finally) put it together for my daughter this weekend, only to discover this bed was shipped without a single drawer slide. I tore apart every piece of foam and cardboard. Not one of the 12 slides (6 pairs) was sent. I had taken apart my daughters old bed in order to have room to put together this furniture so now she has no bed.I tried contacting the seller but they told me they cannot help because it has been too long and suggested I can try contacting the manufacturer to order some new parts. This would be fine if I BROKE them or lost them. But they were never delivered! Why am I paying for the parts needed to build the product I already purchased?! That is crazy!I tried contacting the manufacturer but they only have customer service Monday to Friday from 10 am PT to 4 pm PT. I sent an email but I am assuming the manufacturer does not monitor their email over weekends because I have not heard back.I LOVE this brand. I purposely looked for the PrePac name because I think they are far superior to South Shore or IKEA. (For reasonably priced kids furniture) The PrePac instructions are so much better than any other brand. The quality is much better for the price range. But I am SO disappointed in this customer service.I have sent an email to the manufacturer and I will call them. At 11 am my time. Monday.I know the delay in building was my fault. But it just was not possible to get to this until now. I would have hoped for some kind of assistance and/or compassion from this seller.

We purchased this bed after reading good reviews.. We debated between the a similar South Shore model, but ended up going with this one because the reviews were better...We also purchased the coordinating headboard. After opening the boxes we immediately noticed the pieces of wood were not labeled. We were able to figure it out based on the pictures, but it was annoying to have to muddle through the building process. Neither the bed or the headboard had any labels.The other thing that really bothers me about this bed is that you can see three large bolt heads along the side of the bed with the drawers... I was immediately disappointed.. The bolt heads are silver 3/4 inch in diameter. The picture of the bolts appears on the front page of the instruction manual but does not show up on the pictures posted on Amazon...The bed seems sturdy enough and it will be fine for our toddler. Wish we would have purchased the other one though.

I bought this bed for my son, after 1 week of sleeping on it the top arm of the bed broke off!( he is 19 so he was not jumping on it). After the top arm fell off the planks under the bed (to keep the mattresson) kept falling through to the drawers underneath , the drawers are all out of whack and falling apart.Very cheap materials used for this bed , it is not at all sturdy it is made of pressed wood so the screws fell right out.I paid enough for this bed so it should've at least lasted longer then a few weeks before we had to repair it. I would not recommend buying this bed.

The package arrived a little damaged but that is expected for living in a remote location. No parts were damaged or missing despite the package damage. The bed is heavy and arrives in 2 packages. I assembled the unit in a few hours by myself. The process is much easier on the wrist if you use a cordless drill driver. There are a lot of screws! It seems sturdy and I like the real wood sides to the drawers. It has a lot of storage and the drawer glides are smooth. The unit is high off the ground. I purchased it for a teenaged girl to maximize space in a small room. Hopefully it sill stand up to usage, I would have prefered if the unit was available in white to match previous decor we have but the all black unit is clean and sleek.
