A nice basic Tape Echo but with reverse and one preset!
I own many delays/echoes and this is a great mini pedal. It runs quiet on all 3 settings (clean, normal, reverse) which is important. It is noted to be "true-bypass" I'm not too sure about that since its not true bypass with a "mechanical" switch, as it would be impossible to do the double tap preset with a typical mechanical true bypass 3pdt switch. .. so it might be via using relay switching to be true bypass. But, true bypass is not essential for me for this pedal (most modern delays these days are not true bypass anyways). It does not self oscillate but it will run very long repeats and adjusting the time while these repeats runaway will create interesting pitch shifted notes that do not "stutter" like what commonly happens with other digital delays. What makes this pedal really nice and is for its price range and size, it can do reverse, you can save a favorite setting (preset) and the pitch shifting effect.

Great value. Better sound.
The media could not be loaded. This little guy is an absolutely AMAZING value for money. It sounds just as good as pedals 2x or 3x the price, and it doesn't take up half of your pedal board. It does feel a little bit cheap, but who cares? For the price, you could buy 2 and still be under the cost of most of the other tape echos on the market.

Excellent pedal
I really like this pedal a lot. Very warm tone, as with an old style tape echo, great headroom sound when the mix or level are increased. This effect has a noticeably different sound than reverb or a digital delay, and this effect nixes well with other effects, such as flangers and delays. I recommend this box to all players that miss the old tape echo boxes, and to others who are looking to add cool echo effects to their rigs.

Super versatile and sounds great!
Outstanding pedal! I use it for a variety of styles I play. For surf guitar it sounds very good! You can save two different settings I have one set on a full slap back echo for surf tones , rockabilly and 50s style rock.On the Second channel the setting I have is broader with a slower repeat to add volume and depth to clean and distorted playing. Shimmering and volume would be how I would describe my second settling.Love love love it! Use it constantly and I am so glad I decided to buy it. Couldn’t be happier!

The thing I like most about the tape Echo unit is the ability ...
The thing I like most about the tape Echo unit is the ability to have two separate delay settings. Normally using distortion from the amp itself will cause the delay to over-react so having the ability to set one delay at a very low level and then another slightly higher for my clean channel is a bonus. The normal channel adds modulation to the delayed signal. I wish it was adjustable, it's a little more modulation than what I would want but still has a very cool effect 4 clean playing. I still consider it a great deal for around 50 bucks.

The little delay pedal that could!!!
First of all I want to say that I had no real great expectations for this pedal but when I got my hands on it I was blown away by the sound very nice delay for the money. Also the packaging it came in was very classy I am very happy with this delay pedal and I will be purchasing more from CNZ Audio.

Amazing delay pedal at an incredible price!
The CNZ Tape Echo is an outstanding pedal! Warm delay yet pronounced and the warblation as the notes decay adds a nice extra something to your sound. The added bonus is being able to switch between 2 settings the storage function is great!

Add delay with out the digital tone.
Pretty rad delay pedal. Sounds very organic. Doesn’t reset when you stomp which is about the only downside.
