I found that this pot does a lot of the extra things I needed.
This set is great. It's fills a part of my needs that was a little difficult with normal pots. As a note, I had read some reviews on copper pots that some had trouble with the bottom having the burn marks on the copper. IF you find that may I suggest you look at your gas burner flame. These pots do not take as my of a flame to heat something that other pots do. My point is, keep the flame inside the exposed part of the bottom of the pot so it does not heat the copper on the bottom or it will leave those burn marks. Adjust the flame. Two, do not take the pot directly from the stove, while hot, to the sink and put in water. That will damage the copper plating. It is just small things that will give you years of service if done correctly. Hope that helps.

My mom had just the basic skillet. I used it while visiting her and decided I needed one of these too. I went with the full 6 piece set and used it last night. First of all it arrived 3 days earlier than expected. I cooked a half chicken in it last nigh and could not believe how nice and brown it got. This will be my go to pan. Tonight I have fried green tomatoes on the menu. Will try out the fryer basket.

This was a dirty Santa gift. My grandson confiscated this as I knew he would. He loves to cook and I’m sure he will enjoy it.I cannot rate but would love to have one myself.

Square Copper cookware
I used the pan only a few times since igot it. So far quite happy with it, it’s non stick as they said it would be, you do need to be patients when using it as you can only use med. heat which will take longer to cook the food. However, once get use to is a good product. Very easy to clean.

Esta sartén es excelente! ¡Nada se pega! Yo estaba esperando a que alguien salga con la bandeja de cobre Chef pero con manijas mejor aislados y este es! El borde adicional alrededor de la tapa de esta cacerola que sostiene la cubierta de cristal es un mejor diseño también. Esto conduce a la condensación y cualquier cosa que se escapa de la tapa de vidrio de nuevo en la sartén.El único negativo a esta cacerola es el alambre Fry Basket. La cesta, obviamente, fue diseñado para una cacerola diferente y no se ajusta a esta cacerola muy bien. Debido a que el borde superior del borde de la bandeja no se cuelga del borde superior de la cacerola para drenar. También hay dos manijas en la parte superior de la cesta de la fritada que no permiten que la tapa de cristal se utilice en la tapa de la cacerola cuando la cesta está en uso. Even cooking and so easy to clean.
Thought it was bigger but it certainly is a very useful addition to my kitchen.

Watch!
Said it was dishwasher safe but they recommend not to use in the dishwasher. Not pleased with that. Gave it away and purchased a Gotham Steel one!
