So I did a thing.. minnie-snow-ta.... my 3 pound yorkie don't like snow or rain 😂.. MY DOG... YALL NOT CAT.... 😂 CHECK IT OUT... I first got reuseable/washable pup pee pad.... know what after time goes they wear out.. start soak through... leak... so.. thought well ok... THEN with training new pup here im thinking well i don't want her going on carpet.. was really hard to get her go outside even... but this one goes so little AGAIN she's only 3 pounds... 😂 was looking at fake grass pads... in a tray... hmmm, they had a stainless steel one(I'll be doing a review there too for 0Dog Grass Pad with Tray, Grass Pad for Dogs Potty 23.4" X 15.6", Stainless Steel Tray & Grate, 2 Pcs Replacement Artificial Grass Mats & 2 Pee Pads, Portable Dog Toilet for Indoor and Outdoor Use) but I thought hmm this be nice.. plastic.. after pup pees while the plastic Gets lime buildup, warps... smells after time... don't last.. my last service dog 15 years.. it's gotta last an stay nice... ones I've had in past you pick up they warp... an hence spilling.. for Pete's sake..(no pun intended) but anyhow.. I got idea, of well, is there one with enough room to use crystals in it... ?? to absorb but not dusty (of course, it's under the grass so pup don't kick like cat would), like kitty litter cuz that stuff makes me sick an can't breathe... sooooo after researching an searching thinking, an reading reviews... went for it... boy... Amazon has lot to look at then the distractions 😂... adhd here 😂 anyhow.... came across this.... so I'm going to put my input here then yall can decide.. I'm picky yall.. I was really hesitant... but the pan I got..(looks like a cake pan with cookie rack) has 2 grass pads that hooks into rack.. an can change an wash.. well anyhow, it has a rack in it.... so I put a bag that stuff in... perfect fit yall... now the TEST! TRAINING HER! 😂 first I thought she ain't going to step up in it let alone use it... hmmm I put the pads away... an then put pan by door.. at first (i or right in front so she had to walk over it to get outside... only temp.. is pain to step over but worth the training took 4 days) now when I got it.. was starting get cold. No snow and my mom had died.. so wasn't able to use faithfully... chaos what not.. but.. BUT then it snowed.... she went to run outside.. figured she's gotta go... went running.. 😂 I should had camera.. the side eye I got like really what's this cold wet crap out there... an so I've been trying catch her using it.. but when I see her go over there... an when she goes she does her kick after so I can sing praises 😂 I praised the heck an got special Treat for that only.... this stuff is good stuff... I thought the smell would bother pup but it's under grass... doesn't stink... I FREAKING LOVE IT!! Makes easier to change out so don't have toilet there... the cost is effective for a often as change it.. what 16 bucks 5 lbs going 2 months now yet still got over half the 5 there... of course, the pooh.. is on top... I use my biodegradable bags pick those upright away for those Lil ones that decide to taste it (blech)😂... so the grass by my door not for your shoes... it's got these crystals ... though she does check an goes outside outside at times.. (when it's 40 😂) but like I said goes so Lil, works great.. smells good.. not dusty..... now to measure an get right size bags to put in pan to save on cleaning pan... SO, as far as goes for pup here way I'm using it.. works great... not sure if cat approved because I'm sooo Allergic... so.. taking it or sticky.. unsure because I just poured in.. put rack on top then grass pad so there's no contact... it just collects... You HAVE to try this Litter! I've had cats all of my life and have used many different products. The clumpy stuff is gross to scoop, and regular litter does little for odor and tracks everywhere! I tried a more 'expensive' brand of crystal litter and it worked great but is very expensive to maintain 2 litter boxes. I tried several more crystal litter products and the had similar problems. Not good at masking odor and tracked all over the house. Then I discovered Fresh Crystals! This product is less expensive than the other brands, good quality, excellent odor control, and very minimal litter tracking. In fact, when I vacuum outside the litter box, there is very little residue to clean up. Also, important to me is the light weight of the bag of litter. Easy to carry and pour without spraining your shoulder and/or spilling it during box changes. I would highly recommend this litter, as well as the Johnny Cat Jumbo litter liners. They are durable but will get scratched after a short period of time. Still, they are durable and make litter clean up much easier.

As a cat guardian to multiple cats, I have to say I’m impressed. I’m an every other day scooper, sometimes daily (especially with #2), but it’s now day 3 since I poured it into the boxes and there’s no urine ammonia smell. It’s even kept the #2 stink at bay. Surprising since it’s unscented. I was skeptical with it being non clumping, but it’s very absorbent and no dust! Making it great for those with allergies as well as giving my duster a break. They do tag along those little toe beans upon exit, however I have noticed it less. Only con for me is the price point per pound. It’s only a 5lb bag. I was getting 25lbs at a time since I have multiple boxes for the same price and it kept the scent away for about a month. I just don’t prefer the mess of clumping litter. I may have to bite the bullet and stick with this one since it is cleaner, in hopes of not needing to dump and scrub the boxes as often.

I live in a small apt., litter box in corner in L.R. No odor; kitty likes it.

This is not a dust free litter at all. It is super dusty. Like clouds of dust every time the litter is slightly disturbed. I like the crystal litter so that is good but if you are looking for a dust free litter this one isnt it. It is so dusty i had to remove the lid of the box so my sphynx didn’t inhale so much dust. I really wanted this to be a great product. But the dust is prohibitive for us.
