Great tripod, OK head
The tripod itself is excellent, well made and very adjustable. I love the tilting center column and use it frequently for product and food photography. This tripod is heavy compared to those using more modern materials which is great for me as I appreciate the added stability but those who will be carrying it around much may want to consider the more expensive carbon fiber version (though I suspect it would be rather unstable with the center column tilted).The included case is very well made but will not fit the tripod with the head attached unless the handles are removed. The head itself is well made for the price but not great quality compared to more expensive options. Movement in some planes can be a bit jerky but, for the price, I am happy with it. Both the head and the tripod came with a tiny bubble level which, in both cases, had come loose and was floating around in their respective boxes. They could be re-bedded if one was so inclined but the hassle of making sure they are both secure and level just isn't worth it to me given how small they are.

Orbit tripod with head
Great tripod. Very solid and sturdy and extremely versatile to set up for about any situation. The only downside is it's weight at 8 pounds with head.The weight only matters if you are on foot for any considerable distance, or if your old like me. The head is ok, not super smooth when panning.For the price it is still a good deal.
