Great basic pattern
It is a great pattern for a very light weight fabric or a very drapey fabric. I am going to try it with patchwork, a bit heavier but not unreasonable. The sleeves are off the shoulder which will make them easy to set in using the patchwork.

Really cute! Great for beginner sewers!
I made the XL letter C option and it turned out great! The XL was a little big, so I think I'll stick the large next time. Took me 6 hours to complete because this is the first time I used a sewing pattern and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Can't wait to make more!

Versatile and easy to sew.
I have used this pattern more than once. It's an easy, versatile pattern. I added large pockets on both sides....everyone needs pockets. I also used a thicker band around the neck, front sides, and extended the length. UPDATE: This pattern works great with light-weight denim. No lining-French seams.
