Small Broom Cleaning Supplies

Good for what it is - a small little broom. Knocking off one star because the straw just seems extra bristly/messy to me. I remember these from when I was a child, and back then the straw was so smooth and nice all the way down the shaft. This is just a furry bristly mess. But I bought it for my baby who LOVES TO SWEEP and the unpainted handle means it's not leaving paint smears on my wall. It's the perfect size. I just wish it were a tad better quality. I would still buy it again, though, because baby loves it so!

I purchased this broom for my son to use while helping me clean. I was willing to pay more for a broom that was well made with extra reinforcement. The broom that I was sent only had two rows of stitching across the bristles (not the 4 rows shown in the picture). It also measures 36" from the top of the handle to the bottom of the bristles, which is not really what's advertised. I was disappointed by this. I contacted Wizard of Math and they, somewhat reluctantly, refunded me my money because it was probably cheaper than paying for return shipping. I think it is a good little broom, but just be aware that it is NOT the one pictured. You can find a cheaper ones on Amazon by searching for "corn broom." Another reviewer mentioned that the bristles are a little stiff. I agree, but that's pretty standard for corn brooms until they are broken in a bit. The broom would work best in an outdoor application sweeping leaves, etc, or indoors if your little helper is just there to imitate rather than to actually sweep. Hope this helps!

I actually bought this because it's little and cute, and I thought I'd put it in our bathroom to sweep up cat litter. It doesn't really work that well as a broom though. I guess I don't like straw brooms, but it is attractive. I'll use it to sweep off the porch. Kids would have fun with this though I'm sure!

My 2 year old son likes this broom. But, the bristles come out all the time only increasing the things I actually need to sweep up. Sigh....

We bought this for my daughter to use with her witch costume when she was three years old. I'm going to buy another since it finally fell apart after three years. Why is it so hard to find a broom for kids? This is a good size for my 1-2 yr old to use and to grow into. But the straw is especially hard and dry so it breaks off easily and could seriously poke, maybe pierce his skin and mine! Perfect size. It's a shame. And he still asks to use my brooms. I'm now on the lookout for a broom this size but with manmade, synthetic, maybe nylon, somewhat soft bristles. LIke the real brooms you find in walmart or wherever-- just smaller please!

I have several Thevitia trees in my back yard which provide lovely shade but are quite messy with dropped leaves and flowers. This little broom is perfect for me to use to drag along the sides of the pool where the leaves and flowers stick. One lap around the pool and the mess is headed towards the skimmer basket.It is the perfect length and weight for me to reach the top of the water. I have a telescoping pole/skimmer but it's big and heavy and cumbersome and this little broom has worked perfectly for years.

It is the right height and weight for the job, but the bristles are falling out.
