Best taste if your making kimchi this is a must. Super big for the value.

I've been looking for a good Ume drink that's not carbonated. This syrup has the perfect taste of sour and sweet. A couple teaspoons in a cold glass of ice water is just right for refreshing hydration.

The product page says it's "Pure Plum Extract Syrup", but that's not true. The ingredients clearly say "Plum Extract (Sugar, Water), Sugar, Water" which would indicate it has added sugar...Either way, I really like this syrup. It has a very intense, sweet and sour flavor that gives a great fruity tart punch to whatever you add it to. A little bit goes a long way, and I have no problem recommending this product, even at the high price point of $15.It's not clear to me whether it needs to be refrigerated or not. Mine did come with foam on the top which never popped, but never increased either. I love this stuff! I am just about done with my first bottle and will definitely buy it again. It is sweet and tart. It is perfect! This is my first time tasting it. I just mix it in with ice water for a nice alternative to flavored water (I saw a girl who lives in Korea do this in a YouTube video).
