This book is digestible, thoroughgoing and, at 425 pages, comprehensive. But in consideration of the most likely target audience -- us old folks -- they might have made the TYPE FONT LARGER.Of course, that would make it heftier so either some editing or a weight lifting regimen?

This is my fourth book on Parkinson’s and the only one I’m keeping. I need it now and I’ll need it later.

I had an earlier edition of this book and wanted an update. Still a great value. Easy-to-find information on all aspects of Parkinson's from diagnosis (including how to get the correct one) to home care to hospice. What to expect from your neurologist as well as new medications and treatments. As a caregiver, I especially appreciate the section on caregiving - what can the caregiver expect to be responsible for, and suggestions for the person with Parkinson's on how to help and care for the caregiver.

My family member was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. We knew nothing about it. This manual is detailed with information on the subject.

I got this as my mom was recently diagnosed, and it's a great way to learn about what she may be facing in the coming years. The book has a great upbeat tone while still being very informative.

Definitely USA market. Lacks so much for wider audience. In the UK it's a bit 'meh'
