Fit and worked perfectly
Nice way to keep retro tech alive

Excellent after a slight hiccup in an MDD G4
Added this to a 2002 Apple PowerMac G4 after wanting to upgrade from the original 60 GB hard drive, which was running out of space. The drive caddy fit perfectly into the bay, but due to the IDE-SATA adapter raising the height/location of the pins on the adapter in contrast to a regular IDE HDD, I had to unscrew the original HDD from the lower position. This was swapped with the new 2.5" SSD in the caddy, so that the IDE ribbon cable could accommodate both IDE connections, then both Molex power connections were utilized. Mac OS X 10.5.8 saw the drive upon booting from the original HDD. I then partitioned the new drive, with a main partition and then one for the OS X installer. Now the machine boots from the SSD (upgraded to 10.5.8 like one of the original HDD's partitions), with no hitches so far. Booting is much quicker and the computer itself has a much better zip about it. I'm already considering adding another simply for more storage. Great product!

Good solution to failing IDE drives
This little bundle performed flawlessly as a replacement drive for an arcade machine. Quick format, transferred my image, plugged it in and (quickly) boot up with fantastic results. This will now be my go-to solution for all things arcade.
