The description of the item stated it was a 3 inch inlet. It is not 3 inches. It is slightly smaller and will not fit on a 3 inch tail pipe. Quality is good. Wish it fit.

Inlet pipe is 3" diameter, but will only fit 2 5/8" exhaust pipe.
Excellent quality.Beware the item is listed as 3" diameter - but this is the diameter of the inlet pipe and does not include the fixing screws - including the fixing screws item will only fit a 2 5/8" diameter exhaust pipe - which worked for me.Very pleased with the look of the item.

Inaccurate description
This tip will not fit a 2 7/8" exhaust pipe, let alone a 3" pipe. I will be returning the tip as it is useless to me.
