Many years ago I purchased a Black & Decker stick vacuum for a horrible mouse cleanup job BUT loved the vacuum so used it in my home instead. Wanted similar and in comparison, this Iris vacuum is disappointing.However, if used on the high power it's decent for minor cleaning. It's awkward but moves easily into corners and under counters. The filter is super easy to clean. The hand attachment for corners works better than the actual vacuum which is nice.Drawbacks are: 1) awkward weight with the motor placement and 2) IF you have arthritis or a damaged hand, you may need someone to assist you in taking it apart for the cleaning.The price is good but if I were to buy it again I'd look for the Black & Decker I had originally. B&W doesn't sell the one I have--they make this Iris design so if all was damaged, I'd buy the Iris again unless I could find better in person.

This vacuum works well and is nice and compact. The battery is detachable but you still need to plug the entire vacuum to charge. That’s a bit of a bummer but we still like it.

Doesn’t self stand😑 as described also suction isn’t that strong for the handheld stick part

This small vac is splendid. It has very good suction and 2 speeds. It handles very easily and depending when you have it set up it will be handy. The attachments are good. The smaller nozzle is great for tight places. Even though it is a bit pricey I’d buy it again.

We love our portable vacuum! It’s light and easy to move around. Attachments are easily accessible and are quick to assemble. Battery drains fairly quickly on carpet when on high setting. Battery lasts longer when on hardwood floors. Would purchase again.

All in all I’m happy with the vacuum. However the run time is greatly exaggerated. I measured the run time on the high setting and it was just short of 15 minutes. I reached out and customer service said they can exchange it for a new one. I had to wait a while for the new vacuum to arrive but I charged it fully and just let it run on high until it ran out of charge. This time it died after 17 minutes. I assume the run time of 30-40 minutes must apply to the low setting. Still it seems a little deceptive to me.

I got this to replace a old Dyson V6 (which I'd simply worn out) but didn't want to spend that kind of money again. It fits the bill nicely with similar suction to the old Dyson (they don't cite the value on high but I'm guessing around 15 kPA matching the V6). There are certainly more powerful units out there but this gives a good compromise of decent battery life and low weight. The powered head works well enough but strains a bit on thick carpet; ok for me as I use it mainly on hard floors. It's too new for me to comment on reliability but it's quite well put together so hopefully will last a while.
