I was a loyal customer of case-mates. Over the past 5 years, I’ve ONLY purchased case-mates to protect my iPhones. This brand offers awesome designs and for the most part, offers great protection from drops.I purchased this case because my previous case, which also had cascading glitter, cracked after a few months. I dropped it a few times over its life, before I noticed droplets on the exterior of the lower half of my screen. I removed the case and whenever I gave it a nice shake, I would find slightly oily moisture on the bottom corner. I did this several times just to make sure that this was the source of that moisture. Oh well, I chalked it up to a quality control issue because I purchased it at a national chain discount store. As a “maxonista” I know these stores sell items that don’t pass quality inspection, but are still sellable.So I came to amazon to purchase another case-mates product. At this point there were very little issues with my phone. The only damage to note was on the top corners which can be seen on the top corners. However, once I saw this case, I knew I had to have it. So I purchased it on 10/16/20.Yes, the phone has since been dropped since I started using this case. But I purchased this case to protect. And just the other day, I went to reach into my purse when I noticed that something was wrong with the very bottom part of my phone. At first I couldn’t figure out what was happening. But over time the discoloration kept slowly creeping up towards the top. I removed this case and found the same issue with my previous case. There was that slightly oily liquid again, but this time it had seeped into the phone through the speakers. Even after removing the case, the damage to the inner aspect of my screen continued to creep up my phone over the next hour. The end result being the picture I’ve included in the review. I can no longer see pictures clearly and the contrast in screen color makes it extremely difficult to read. Times are tough and I can’t afford a new phone right now.Until the purchase of these past 2 cases, I had never experienced any issues with case-mate cases; even with previous cases (with cascading glitter) for different model iPhones. I strongly urge anyone buying from case-mates to avoid purchasing any cases that have liquid in them. Stick to the ones that don’t. It’s not worth the risk.

This phone case is even better in person! So fun and very sturdy. Wish there were more patterns - I'd buy them all!

Very nice and good protection for the iPhone.

I like the overall look and feel of the case. The different colors along with the glitter makes my phone look pretty. It’s a must have.
