Zoo MedNano Dome Single Lamp Fixture, 40 Watt

I use this for my frog and it has taken quite a beating by being knocked off of the tank a lot but it's still going and hasn't set my house on fire so I think it's going well!

I had to return this. I was imagining that I could use just any light bulb in the lamp. However, I was trying to have it sit close to the cage as well... None of the bulbs I could find were short enough to not stick out the end... I ended up returning this and buying a dual lamp that has LED and didn't need bulbs.

I used it for a 20 gallon enclosure for my ribbon snake. I used it as an extra for the cold nights in winter with an inferred heat light bulb for it.

Perfect heat lamp for our turtle. He loves basking in the warmth. Easy switch to turn on and off. Only thing I wish were different is a way to prop it up safely if it doesn’t have a wire cage to rest or hang on.

Works great heats up tanks up to 5 gallons no problem without taking up a bunch of space

Already had one of these fixtures and purchased two more off of here for my leopard geckos. They’re the only lights that fit on my shelf system. I’ve spent a lot of money experimenting with light bulbs and the 40 watt basking bulb keeps their tanks at a perfect 90 degrees on the hot spot without using a colored bulb that hurts their eyes.

I purchased this to use in conjunction with a low wattage CHE. I use it to keep my breeding dubia's warm.

I love the size of this lamp, but the bulbs blow anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months after being changed. Too often for my taste. I wish I could give this 5 stars but the buble life issue is the problem

I love this little dome! I wish it didn't cost so much, considering how tiny it is, but it's also very good quality. Be careful as it can get very hot. I use these with a 25 watt ceramic heat emitter (the nano one from Zoo Med) on a thermostat, over top my 18x18x24 Exo Terra enclosures. I have crested geckos and a gargoyle gecko. This extra little bit of heat was exactly what I needed to keep their tanks at the correct temperatures throughout the winter. I love how little space they take up.

Works well, and keeps my 30 gallon terrarium at 74 degrees F all night with the 40 watt nano night bulb. I do recommend, and would buy again.

Machen genau das was sie sollen. Man muß sie nur vorsichtig anfassen,da das Gehäuse sehr labil ist.
