It's very lightweight, it also cools you off more since it's blocking UV. Pockets are perfect, and the zipper let's you cover your face up to your glasses if you desire. These are perfect to keep with you on Summer trips to the beach, camping, etc. They are not mosquito-proof, but you don't need sunscreen. The size is okay, US sizes needed by I'm a Large and it fit fine, very stretchy and comfortable. Buy an extra one!

My second one. Looks great, fits me perfectly and seems well made. Shades the wearer from the hot sun or warms you slightly when it's cool. I wear them kayaking and casually. A little weird that the zipper goes all the way around the opening of the hood, but I suppose if you want to take a nap in the sun it gives you the option to close it all the way up. And it doesn't really show...

Bought 3 of this super light jackets. This are breathable and i can use them in the summer no problem. It feels like a thicker long sleeve shirt. I used it on 90+ weather and it i didnt felt hotter than wearing a regular shirt.

I purchased this hooded sun shirt specifically for protection from the sun that breathes well and is good as activewear. It achieves all of those goals completely. And it achieves those goals for a small portion of the price of the big recreation box store brands. But here's something it does that's somewhat strange ... the zipper goes all the way up the front of the hood. At first, I found it hilariously funny -- you can zip yourself up entirely, like in a form-fitting body bag. As it turns out, this feature is super useful! The full-hood zip may be overkill, but it allows you to zip up to account for sun casting over a hat brim and hitting your face. It also allows for zipping up to conceal more of your face from the sun, up to your sunglasses. Basically, something that looked like a design hiccup at first has turned into one of my favorite features. In trying to reduce sunscreen use and instead put a physical barrier between skin and sun, this sun shirt is phenomenal. The price feels super fair for what it is, and vastly exceeds the value provided by the big box store brands.

Got this jacket yesterday put it on to try it out ended up having it on the rest of the night It is so light so comfortable. The pockets are huge. Inside pockets are literally big enough Put a switch or an iPad in them the hood is big enough for it give a bit of shade the zipper is a bit stiff but probably nothing but a couple hundred zip And unzips won’t fix definitely going to buy a few more in different colors

Runs larger than expected. Otherwise a great product. Well made. I’ve had mine for months now. Used it several times and washed over and over. No problems.

Got a white one, large. In most clothing that would fit me just fine. The jacket's a little on the small side, but otherwise very good and I'm happy with it. Would recommend. I went to get a black one, extra large. It fit me better, whereas normally large fits me best, so maybe err on the side of sizing up. However, the zipper on the extra large black one was busted. It was constantly getting stuck in the zipper...mount? Exchanged it for another of the same type, and that one also had a busted zipper. Now I'm gun-shy about buying a few of these in different colors like I was hoping to. If you get one with a working zipper, you'll probably be happy with it.

Great Material, very lightweight. Good protection from sun. When worn indoors, so light weight it doesnt even feel like you are wearing a jacket. Size runs a little large. I bought 2 x L and 2 x mediums for various family members. All found the sizing to be slightly big. Not a problem though, easy to tailor. Better a little big than a little small.

I was skeptical to buy the medium size after reading the reviews but still went ahead with medium size and it fits perfectly. I’m 5.9 tall and athletic and its perfect for me. No need to go for larger size unless you are over weight. It’s light weight and looks good when you wear.

It is very light. Easy to store, wash and carry. It does protect me from getting sunburn, so I assume the UV protection is good. The zip is very weak for a $56 item. I don't think it will last every day for a year.
