If you want a cheaper better alternative to the spud inc belt then look no further. This is better made and far better stitching and even the metal hardware is higher quality than the spud belt. However it's still not a great design. It would be far better to have nylon daisy chains as the point of attachment. This belt while okay on belt squat machine isn't as good on the free weight variant which I find far better. It needs to have a way of hooking up around the front to make the belt more secure in the top position. It's useable don't get me wrong but compared to the King Of Weighted dip belt it's vastly inferior. That belt isn't even designed for belt squats yet it's more secure and far more comfortable at very heavy loads. So if you've used spud inc and that's what you want but just made better get this. However if you have access to the King of weighted belt it's far better and can be used for pull ups/dips etc as well.

Looked through several dip belt reviews and this one looked like the most solid. Used it for the past couple to do 200lb+ belt squats and no issues at all (super thick stitching and great workmanship). The one issue I'll callout is that I ordered the dip belt and it didn't come with the carabiners and chain...so I returned it and ordered another one. The second order also was missing the carabiners and chain so I emailed BoS Support and they sent me the missing pieces. Update (1/11/24): still super happy with this belt...looks brand after using it f or almost a year for 200lb+ belt squats. Not sure about the max weight it can handle since my belt squat attachment can only hold 5 plates but I'm guessing 300lbs+ given that there's literally no signs of wear and tear. Based on other reviews it sounds like they forgot to include the chain/carabiners but as long as you're patient I'm pretty sure you can email BoS Support and they should send them to you. Update (10/22/24): belt still looks brand new after using it regularly for belt squats.

Excellent product, worthy of a home or commercial for heavy training, well made, will last for very long time and can handle lost of extra weight for dips, pull ups, bel squats, etc...

Great belt . Strong and well made . Little too long for my application but it still works great

For belt squats this is a must. I've DIYed belts and used chained dip belts and they are not nearly as comfortable. I like to wear my belt on my hips, not around my waist and this does the job. The padding all around is great even with heavy loads
