I started my daughter on the 2nd grade spelling workbook and was so impressed I bought the 3rd and 4th grade spelling workbooks. I am a bit disappointed that there isn't a 5th grade one (or I haven't found it). They help her get familiar with words and word groups by providing fun activities for her to do. She loves the book and it has helped her spelling of words a lot. Highly recommend this book.

I love this book! Sure, it has great lessons in it, but there's something else that stands out about it that I have yet to see in any other book I've ever purchased: the pages are thick. Really thick. Not like a toddler's book with dense, cardboard pages, but just really thick paper. They just feel really good in your hand as you turn them, and it would take some effort for my hyperactive eight-year-old to rip them. It's a quality book that doesn't fall apart in your hands. Such characteristics in a book never crossed my mind until I received this book, but once I got it in my hands, I took notice of it immediately. It's just a good-quality product.

Highly recommend for parents who wants there kids to learn spellings before they start with grade 3 I got this book for my 2nd grader. My kiddo school work I see there are some wrong spellings so I searched online is there a way I can help her with this and I found this book. This book not only teaches spelling they teach them in a kids friendly ways. My kiddo love the book because it is playful and at the same time she learns spelling simultaneously.

I've bought a few books to support my son's learning throughout grade three and this one was really helpful. It's design to start simple and get progressively more difficult. Each section has learning activities paired with games to support learning new, more complex words. It's not an overly challenging book but definitely a great supplementary resource for your child while they're learning to read and spell.

Helped with spelling

Pretty good book, but wish there was more repetition on the simple words. My third grader doesn't really need to know the word, 'grasshopper'. I would rather they repeat the world 'these' or 'next' or 'both' 'began'. Simple words that kids read everyday and need to get more familiar with. So not a great book as in a weird way it's too advanced.
