MetoliusM-16 Bouldering Brush

VERY GOOD BRUSHES FOR CLEANING KIT !!

I like this brush so much, I bought a second one. My other brush is one of the boar's hair brushes, but it wore down to nothing after 9-12 months of use (bouldering 1-2 times per week). Having said that, I've hear these can leave bits of fiber on the rock. I've never noticed that, but it was recommended to me (after I bought another one of these) to use the boar's hair instead.

Just took it to the gym last night. Always super stoked to try out new things I buy. Works as advertised, the bristles are stiff and do a good job of getting that caked on chalk of the holds. I'm not really sure what the utility is of the little brush on the bottom, but it doesn't hurt anyone being there. For the price it does what it needs to do and I am happy with my purchase. And yes, when you see people at the gym climbing, brushing off those tiny holds... it's not just for show, it actually does help. Thanks Metolius.

I use this for my bouldering gym. The holds stay on the wall far too long and need a good brushing after a few weeks. This does the job and it's cheap. I don't use the small brush for cleaning holds, but I suspect that's good for cleaning cams and other climbing gear. Metolius makes good products and this certainly falls in line with every other product I have used by them.

This brush is exactly what I expected from it - a useful thingy to help clean off gross holds before or while climbing. Haven't found much of a real use for the smaller head, but it does help keep the brush hooked on my chalkbag while climbing, so it is passively useful.

Only reason for three stars is if you type in "receiver brush" to the search bar you find that these brushes are cheap when they aren't labeled with a climbing affiliation. You can buy 5 for the price of this one. There are also varying bristle compositions. As for the actual brush, 5/5 stars. Great usage and easy to manipulate. Seems resilient as well.

While this brush works well enough, there's no enough of it. Despite being the right size to clean crimps (large side) and small pockets (small side), any large surface takes quite some time to clean; the very stiff bristles don't help too much in this regard. All in all, it's passable but definitely not the best.

Great brush for climbing indoors and outdoors. The small end is bigger than I thought and it is Perfect for every crack I've come across. The large end is perfect for bigger holds. Yet another excellent Metolius product.

These things are great, I actually plan on purchasing a few more of them in case I lose them while climbing or so I can keep one with my boldering gear.

Gave this to my son who's a rock climber. He just moved to Colorado, where he will be doing much more rock climbing. He was happy to receive this.

Relatively cheap looking and feeling but gets the job done
