Great by if you need comfort and crave a bit of movement while working
Love this mat! It makes a world of difference while working at my standing desk. I love the size as it’s easy to move, small enough to store next to my desk, and all the different option for foot placement is amazing for my restless legs!

A Playground for your FEET! And the best therapy for foot injuries!
When I had to work from home long term, I opted for a standing desk, but my feet did hurt after a few hours. When I was in a Trader Joes I noticed they had soft rubber floor mats for the cashiers to stand on. They were INCREDIBLY soft - I'd never seen anything that soft on feet before! The Topo Mini is NOT THAT KIND OF PRODUCT. It's something COMPLETELY different, but it's totally awesome. The "flat part" of the Topo Mini is pretty thin, and not all that soft - I'd be hard pressed to say it was any softer than just wearing a pair of sneakers. The POINT of the TOPO Mini is all the various foam bumps on it... The bumps are all different shapes and levels of softness. You can stand on them to massage your feet, or change your position - like to prop up your heels, or to balance on your toes. It feels so great you can't help playing with it. And besides the massage benefits of doing so, and the softness of the bumps, you do move your legs around and use different muscles. The first couple days I used it I had sore muscles in my legs and back - this was a good thing - it showed I was too sedentary before. I used to dread doing the jogging in place for my Fit Bit's Reminder To Move (250 steps each hour) - now I utterly look forwards to it! I also developed a bad case of Plantar Fasciitis - I was to sensitive for standard physical therapy. I couldn't handle pushing on tennis balls or ice bottles, and I'd try to find bumps in the road to press on with little luck. This Mat couldn't be more perfect! All the bumps are high enough to do the trick, and some are much softer than others, so I can take it easy on my more sensitive points. The result - I now love working standing up. I'm not fatigued as much, as moving around and playing with the bumps really does help you not tire out. And the benefits as a gentle massage table for my foot injuries are the best I've ever had, and that saves me a fortune in foot therapy products. Like other reviewers, I think by far you get the best benefit from this in bare feet. If you can't have bare feet, I'd recommend either those jumpy house socks with the non slip rubber bottoms, or some really flexible house shoes. However, if you can work barefoot (like at your home), this crazy weird product can literally change your life. And if you don't get enough walking in these days, it's all that more important. UPDATE: After a month of use, I'm still overjoyed with this product for so many unexpected benefits. For example, it has so strengthened my calf muscles that I can now sprint up hills better than I ever could before. I'd rate the exercise value of this as comparable to doing an hour of mountain biking a day without even seeming like you're exercising at all... Second update: It's been several months now, and this is become one of only a handful of products I've ever bought that I'm so happy with, and has become such a critical addition to my life! Among everything else, I use it for all my jogging in place that I use to get in exercise while working, and the feel is the closest I've come to my dream of running on a sandy beach by the ocean. :)

Quality product that works
Quality product, feet do not hurt, mat encourages movement and varied standing positions, and it slides easily to tuck away when I am ready to sit. Would recommend trying it!

Good product
Comfortable, makes standing and working easier. Also small and light enough to push aside when ready to sit. Only thing preventing a 5 star is it could be a little thicker, for extra comfort.

Good for stretching and motivating me to move instead of just standing still
This is the first time I've had a stand up desk and a mat so I don't have anything to compare it to but I do like this mat. I find myself stretching my legs in different ways that I don't think I'd do if the mat was flat. It is cushiony but not too soft. I find it easy to move when I don't need to use it. I have hardwood floors so I am able to push it under my desk with my foot when I need to move my chair over to sit.

Topo vs Topo Mini
I just happened to have friends with a Topo and Topo Mini, who let me borrow each at the same time for a few days. They're actually more different than you'd think... The biggest difference, obviously, is the size. The Topo is actually kind of unwieldy in how large it is. When you're standing on it, it's fine; but moving it out of the way underneath the desk, it's actually so long that your feet are on top of it when you're using your desk chair. My friend had it next to her desk, taking up quite a bit of space on the floor. The mini is shorter, which gets it further out of the way when you slide it under the desk, though my toes did still rest on it. The first non-obvious difference is the squishiness. The Topo is much squishier than the Topo Mini. I found that I preferred the firmer Mini, as it felt like it gave you more of an ability to massage the bottom of your feet. The Topo, on the other hand, was so squishy that I felt like it was leading me to hyper-extend my knees as I rocked around on it. The second non-obvious difference is that the mini isn't just a truncated Topo, it's actually a functionally different topology: - The circle in the center is smaller on the mini (I actually wish it was the size of the Topo), but since it's firmer, you can work your arch a littler more. - The front corners on the mini are bigger, and are flattened off. Combined with the mat being firmer, this actually allow you to stand on them more with your toes, whereas the Topo front corners are more just inclines. - The rear center section is functionally quite a bit different on the Mini. Where the rear of the Topo is kind of just a big thing to rest your heels on, with the Mini you can massage your arches, stand on it with your toes and do calf raises, put one set of toes on it and one on a front corner to rock back and forth, etc. So overall I'd say that both are pretty great, and I would get one or the other over a flat mat, as they keep you much more engaged, and feel like they're good for your feet. I also find myself choosing them over the balance board, which now feels like it'll be far more secondary. I definitely feel like I can stand at my desk much longer with the mat. As for one versus the other, I preferred the mini. Originally I would have said the main reason was that I wanted my feet flat on the floor when using my chair, as opposed to resting on the mat; but the more I used them, the more that I found the firmness and topology of the Mini kept me more dynamic, and was more fun to move around on. That said, I think if you want something more squishy, don't see yourself being as dynamic (I'm a fidgeter), or feel like you're primarily going to stand all day; I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Topo. After looking at the other options, I'd definitely get one or the other!

Game changer for my feet, knees and back
I've probably only reviewed one other item in 15 years, but this one deserves a recommendation. I have loved my standing desk for the last couple of years but for the last three months found myself sitting more than standing because of pain in my feet, knees and back. Relief was instantaneous from the first moment I stepped on this mat. I now stand most of the day, without pain or fatigue. The cushioning alone is a game changer but beyond that the various raised "topo" sections of the mat encourage me to stretch my legs and relieve the soles and arches of my feet. In all of the photos I saw in other reviews, it looked like people were only using it sock-footed which made me wonder if the experience would still be as described with shoes on. While I sometimes slip out of my shoes toward the end of a long day, I mostly stand on this mat with shoes on, and still feel it gives all the relief I need. It was an investment but worth it. If I had one complaint, it's that when returning to my desk after I've left the room I sometimes trip over the raised edge of the mat. While I'll own some degree of ungracefulness, I wonder if a stripe around the edge might keep it from completely blending in with the dark carpet.

Game Changer!
I have used other anti-fatigue mats (flat) and this is far superior. I am able to stand far longer using this mat. The Topo Mini is perfect size for me (5'4") and I use all of the features to keep my feet and legs stretched and more active. You don't just stand still when working, and moving back and forth on a flat mat doesn't help. This is a game changer for me as I have chronic back pain and need to stand more often. I find my knees don't hurt when using this mat and I love the topography that fits how I like to stand. This is exactly as they advertise; it slides easy when needed to store (no stooping over to pick up and move) but stays in place when you stand, and great features for your feet. I LOVE this product. Worth every dollar.

Welten unterschied. Kleine Variante reicht meiner Meinung nach auch.

Good material. Limited comfortability
The material is good. The comfortability is limited; Maybe due to my own feet reason.

Didn't know I needed this
I was having neck issues from working at the computer 8-10 hours a day, so I started using my standing desk about 95% of the time now. However, I started getting back and hip pain from standing all day even though I take hourly stretching breaks. I have a kitchen anti fatigue mat I'd been using but it wasn't doing any good, and I saw all these raving reviews for this mat and decided to try it. I had no idea I even needed this, I was pretty reluctant to spend almost a hundred bucks on a floor mat, but this thing changes the way I stand and move around at the desk. I actually didn't know I was so restless, or how much my feet and legs wanted to move around. It's great, and it really helps me with my work, I can actually focus better. I'm so impressed with the quality and the ingenuity of a mat like this. I didn't know I needed squishy but firm lumps and bumps on a floor mat to stand at different levels on. Totally worth the money. The bumps are perfectly the right amount of squish and firm, and the flat surface is plenty supportive as well. Mine doesn't slide on my hardwood floors at all. I got the mini, and to be fair I'm fairly short (4'11"), but it's a really decent size, quite a bit bigger than I thought a mini would be, it fits perfectly under my desk and I have plenty of room to move around. Even if you're taller, I can't imagine it would hamper how you move around unless your standing stance is ridonkulously wide. Never thought I'd rave about a floor mat, but here we are.
