NorthStar ATV Broadcast and Spot Sprayer - 26 Gallon, 2.2 GPM, 12 Volt

This sprayer is very nice! It was easy to assemble and instructions were very clear. it sprays about 12-15 feet and the broadcast sprayer spreads about 5 feet. the pump only kicks on when you squeeze the trigger on the wand which is a nice feature. I like that there are clips on the tank to hold both wands it makes for easy storing. It is very well built and nothing seems loose. The battery clamps were nice and tight on the battery of my utv and I didn't need to worry about them falling off. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who needs to spray a lot of land.

This was super easy to assemble, hooked right up to my John Deere lawn mower's battery, and fit neatly into the little trailer we have for the back. It holds enough weed spray to do 500 feet of gravel road easily. The spray comes out in a nice steady stream. Very sturdy construction. This was way nicer than carrying around 6 backpacks and doing it by hand. I am very happy I made this purchase. I didn't try the sprayer built onto the side, but that looks like it would work OK as well. I just walk along behind my wife driving the mower. What used to take me a few hours took about 1/2 and hour instead.

Bought early November, worked as advertised first time. Tried to use it one month later pump is not working correctly, it runs but cannot build up enough pressure to spray . Only thing i used in it was weed killer. Primed pump repeatedly still will only spray for one second until pressure quits. Not impressed with the pump on this product although the tank seems to be of good quality. I will update if situation changes.

Sprayer has been installed in a cradle inside a pull-behind dump trailer/lawn mower combo. The broadcast sprayer/regulator was included. Although the ad states "26 gal," the last marking on the tank is at "24 gal." The marks need darkening with a black marker. They are in 4 gal increments. Been in use for one hour (two 12 gal apps). Pump maintains about 70 psi and about 20 ft reach with the spot sprayer. No problems with the spot sprayer. Have not used the broadcast sprayer - yet. Only nit, so far, is the drain hole. You will want to put a screw-on valve on this outlet. Draining these kind of liquids without control can be hazardous. Unfortunately, the outlet is angled such that a valve will not allow the tank to set on a flat surface. It must be elevated or set on an edge to clear the added valve.

Excellent product and works as advertized. Well built sturdy and durable tank. One suggestion I would make for other buyers is to be careful handling the spray gun. I was using the sprayer, hopping on and off the ATV and not paying attention. I tossed the wand to the ground and snapped the nozzle. It was no more than a foot but the nozzle hit just right and snapped. This was my fault so be careful as there is no spare nozzle tip.

Superior design. Very much appreciate the pump turning itself off when you are not spraying. The broadcast "boomless" sprayer works well, and I was skeptical. The wand has good adjustment and spray length. If the reliability is good, I am a very pleased customer. Only cons: the straps would not adequately hold the sprayer on my atv and I replaced with rachet straps, I wish the wand hose was longer, and the included wiring with on/off switch did not work for me on my atv because the switch would have been unreachable behind side panels. I had to remove the switch and hard wire it into my battery.

I have had fix a couple of leaks. Nothing major. But now the boom valve will not completely shut off 😡 That will not work for me. Can't have brush kill leaking all over my lawn not to mention wasted product. So guess I'll have to plug it for now. I was only pumping twelve gallons to I just placed the boom nozzle back over in tank left lid off. I did replace the wand with a more reliable nozzle. The pump has great power I can spray15 to 20' with the new nozzle. Over all great product for the price. I use from a full size Polaris Ranger and the long hose allows me to spray from the cab, or get out and spray in all directions.

Works great. Pretty easy to set up. One piece of advice: I have very hilly and rocky land. The two straps weren't enough one time and the whole thing fell off. Add a couple of bungees to really attach it well. But, its a great product. I've been using it to clear trails and will be using it for a summer food plot.
